“We such a lovely time at Maggie’s Café this Sunday afternoon. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive — approachable for a bit of good banter too, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. We were especially well looked after by Rosi, who was an absolute star and made sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed. The food was great and the place had a really homely vibe — organised and efficient, yet calm and comfortable. They even happily accommodated a little wiggle of salsa, which just added to the joy of the afternoon. A genuinely warm, feel-good spot that makes you want to come back again. “I have been using L`Antico for many years, as have many of the faces I see there every week, In the last few months there have been a spate of Malicious reviews that seem fake as the description given for the restaurant does not match the actual restaurant. before that time the reviews are good Google have a responsibility to check the authenticity of these reviews and make sure they are from verified users most of the reviews in the last few months are from people that do not have a profile and have only made one or two reviews in most cases the second review is advertising a service of some kind I believe these reviews are fake and have been generated to damage a small family owned business the bad reviews started a few months ago some while the family were closed for their annual holiday below are a few examples and a correction of their description of the venue I could have put more corrections from that period but the text was to long for google reviews Marie Deniger asked for a quite area for 8 people, the restaurant is one big open plan room, she states she was seated next to the kitchen door , there is no door to the kitchen, the entrance to the kitchen is behind the bar, she states the chairs are plastic , the chairs are made of wood, she states that her uncle's soup was cold, but there is no soup on the menu, she says she ordered a birthday cake,as far as i know the restaurant does not buy in birthday cakes however I have seen customers bring special cakes in this type of occasion.(with the owner's consent) (description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant) Zacharie Gendoron states the carpet was stained and frayed, there is no carpet in the restaurant, he states the walls are faded, the wall are brilliant white (see website photo) he states that several lights were broken and flickering, there are no lights that are broken or flicker, he states he was seated at a table that was still dirty from a previous customer, i have spent a lot of time in the restaurant and as soon as a diner leaves the tables are cleaned and wiped and reset (description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant) again 1 review Dylan Rowley states The restaurant's interior looked tired and dated, with worn upholstery the photos of the restaurant on the website are up to date, he states he was uncomfortably cold. his review was from a month ago(height of summer) his description of the food is either to hot or to cold almost as if he had asked AI to generate a bad review, he also states that he had to wait 45 mins for his starter, i have never seen anyone wait more the 10mins for a starter, and that includes days when there is a Chelsea home fixture review from 1 month ago, again description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant Danyelle J Williams states she was seated in a cupboard next to a toilet, the restaurant is open plan you cannot sit next to a toilet you can however sit near a room that leads to the toilets you have to go in to a room separate form the dining area and then in to a toilet both doors would have to be open (main door is spring loaded to close, and then the diners would have to be silent then if you are lucky you might hear a flush, she states prices have increased i don't know one business that is immune from prices increases, she states the the pizza size has shrunk, i have had many pizza`s over the years they remain the same size they ever were, a pizza cannot have a cold top and a hot underside that's not how a pizza oven works ( unless you are having a topping added after it has been cooked like rocket) she states that her dessert never arrived, the dessert display is in the centre of the restaurant you can almost reach it with an outstretched arm the staff are always in the centre of the of the restaurant so this is unlikly, review from 1 month ago, again description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant visit L`Antico and see for yourself then write a verified review based on a real experience”

“This place is the real deal, no holding back on spices and portion sizes. Seeing Masala Thumbs up on the menu was a treat - just like I had remembered it. I look forward to returning - there were several other things on menu I would have loved to order.”

“I don't leave reviews. ever, but I am currently away from London still dreaming of the next time I can eat from this place. Believe me when I say I have never, i repeat - NEVER had good Afang in England before I tried this place. Afang has always been my comfort food in times of pain or sadness and I only ever eat and enjoy it at my parents' house. I was able to enjoy it away from home FOR ONCE. sigh. I love you guys so much. Don't get me started on their jollof riceeee!! Que rico!! I cannot wait to try the whole menu. Please deliver to me in Northampton one day. haha. Keep up the fantastic work. “Absolutely loved our brunch here. Had the sweet corn fritters, which were some of the best I've had in a long time. Plus the chicken wrap was so tasty and such good value. The orange juice was actually fresh too. We loved sitting outside and definitely recommend visiting here.”

“I've had bad experiences with some Caribbean food, but the visit to Egi's altered my perception. My cousin recommended that I visit if I'm ever nearby. We placed our order over the phone 30mins to arrival. The food was handed to us within 2mins. Went home to give it a try and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the portion and the food was superb. The grilled chicken and pork ribs with the rice and peas was great. Loved it and I will be back for more.”

“I went here for lunch with a friend and she took me here as she highly recommended the food. I had never really experienced Turkish food before and I was definitely not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food even better. We both chose different chicken main dishes and shared the Mediterranean salad and spicy rice for sides. “This is a great expense, one that could be tried by anyone. There are some great choices available for starters, soups or mains and desserts, this place truly has something for everyone. From the outside it looks like a hotel lobby restaurant or something you'd find in central London. Inside is a nice looking banquet hall. The food is delicious and consistent, I've had 3 courses that I was equally pleased and impressed by. My favourite was ciorbă de burtă (tripe soup), although the sarmale (stuffed cabbage) was also really tasty. Don't forget about papanași (doughnuts?). 9/10 would go again, thoroughly recommended.”

“I first found Spaghetti House after playing football across the street in Tufnell Park a few years ago, by accident really. What I found with my Dad was an absolute gem of a restaurant. They have a good variety of options food-wise. I usually go for the Pizza, but the Pasta, Calzone and Meat dishes are all good options too. Prices for these meals usually vary between £8-15, so fantastic value. The beers and wine are reasonably priced too. Despite being part of a chain, I have to say that that is not the vibe you get at all in this restaurant. It is homely, owned (at least in part I believe?) by the staff and a hugely relaxing setting to eat in. The food is great, the prices are very good, but the best part of Spaghetti House is without question the service. You are always greeted with a smile, a handshake, and if you're lucky perhaps even a free shot at the end. The restaurant is just opposite the Tufnell Park Dome, which does quite a few gigs around the year. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend popping into the Spaghetti House for a fantastic meal!”

“After walking around London for a little while me and my friend decided to try out this restaurant. It had a lovely atmosphere with Italian music playing, it was loud enough to hear but quiet enough to easily have a conversation. The staff was very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. The food tasted amazing and was freshly cooked.”

“The amount of creativity, passion, and thoughts that have gone into the menu to combine the traditional Persian flavors with modern French techniques is absolutely fascinating. It’s not just the creativity and presentation, but everything also tastes incredible. If I lived in London, I would have to restrain myself not to go more frequently than once a month! The other favorite part of my dining experience is how the tasting menu transitions from small modern French dishes, suddenly, to a Persian feast (photo attached). The chicken and the rice could be the best I ever had. Lastly, the fact that you are sitting in the kitchen and everything is being prepared around you is an experience you won’t forget. “The only place opened for breakfast this early that we could find. Walked all the way from seven sisters for breakfast. Quaint and simple spot, amazingly cheap breakfast. Spent only 5.6 for 2 as we have small stomachs. Came with coffee or choice of tea, wish more breakfast places opens this early”

“A great premierrr inn, a stable hotel with high cleanliness and attentive staff. The location is great, 10 minute walk from the train station, close the supermarkets (Sainsbury’s across the road). There is a gym opposite the road (The Gym). Very close to many bars, and restaurants with a theatre just two minute walk away. Attached is a steakhouse, brilliant menu and great food. Price is very reasonable for the quality of the food you receive.”
