“I had a great stay at the Premier Inn Hub in Farringdon. The location is excellent — just a short walk from Farringdon Station and surrounded by great cafés, restaurants, and bars. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well-designed for a city stay. The room was compact (as expected), but incredibly efficient, with everything I needed: a comfortable bed, smart controls for lighting and temperature, and good soundproofing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. Would definitely stay again — perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a clean, affordable, and central London base.”

“Little bit quirky, but of all the hotels I've stayed in this area, this is my favourite by far. The only downside was the breakfast if you are vegetarian/vegan. No non dairy yogurts and the lovely chef had to bake me a couple vegan croissants. No labels on anything so had to guess whether they were vegan or not. Obvs of you don't care then not a problem!!”

“A group of us turned up unannounced before they were officially open and we were invited in nonetheless. We shared the mixed grill which was superb. Meat tender and flavoursome, rice outstanding. Also some vegetarian dumplings which were delicious. Very attentive and friendly service from Kamran. Super good value for money.”

“The food here was beyond what I was expecting very tasty and flavourful food and very nicely presented on the plate too. The atmosphere here is very warm and inviting. The service provided here is excellent. Place is very clean to a high standard. I would definitely recommend comming here. (Not one negative thing I could pull on this place) Perfect for dining alone or with friends/family I give this place a 10/10.”

“Honestly, one of my favourite spots. Super simple place, the decor is fine, but dated. The staff here are extremely attentive and always incredibly friendly. The food, is out of this world, the chicken is always succulent and juicy, the lamb is tender and rich. All the accompanying foods are just as good. The portions are generous and delicious. I try to come here every couple of months. Super happy to support an honest and high quality establishment. 10/10 every single time.”

“My son and I had a lovely time in the cafe today (Saturday), we both ordered burgers and chips, the food and service was lovely, young lady who served us was polite and friendly, we had a great time. A Saturday morning breakfast or just a cup of tea perfect.”

“Absolutely amazing Somali food, the best I’ve had in a while. Unfortunately they didn’t had any lamb shoulder so we ordered 4 meals of the menu which they recommended kindly offered to convert it into a sharing platter. Staff was really friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was spacious so couples, families and friends could dine comfortably unlike most Somali restaurants. Food was very flavourful & would definitely be returning!”

“An amazing cultural experience! I attended on a Sunday evening where they had a party downstairs with people wearing traditional dresses, a great never before seen insight into a unique culture. The music (from speakers) spoke in a foreign language and so did the people in the restaurant, the art on the walls were distinct, the table mats had character and I dare even the air felt different! A truly transporting experience, couldn't guess I was in Hammersmith from sitting in Elim! The food was incredibly unique. I had the Lamb Z'gni which was very filling. The dish is served on a silver platter (literally) and I got the chance to traditionally eat with my hands which was a pleasant new way to consume food, I noticed I would take time to sense the texture more and by the end of the meal I got pretty good with my hands! The lamb itself was immaculate, soft and melted clean off the bone, I got to suck out the bone marrow which was surprisingly different and went very well with the stewed chilli paste. The taste of the lamb Z'gni had a beautiful complexion of tangy lemony spice that caught me by surprise, the intense taste was extremely pleasurable and combined with the Enjera ( a foamy thin pancake-ish flour) created a well harmonised balance. They provided a complimentary welcome of vegetables which I really appreciated, the dark greens had a distinct sweetness I particularly enjoyed. Being a budgeted student myself, I'd say this £12 experience was absolutely worth it. If you're looking for a delicious unique experience, Elim is a great choice.”

“The restaurant vibe was like an Iranian Kababi and I didn’t expect this nice and juicy Koobideh at all! It was so tasty and delicious served with a nice rice. The portion size and price was so reasonable for this tasty food and I highly recommend it. I think it’s very common to have a take away as I saw lots of people collecting their order. Also the waitress was a really nice and helpful woman.”

“This is a perfect place...buzzy trattoria style downstairs with a great bar, lively outdoor seating and a beautiful bar. And white table clothes, proper dining room upstairs. The front of house service is polite and efficient, the star is the food and it shines. The entire menu looks excellent. We had the homemade Ragu, homemade pasta, it was superb. We also ordered a picannte pizza which was expertly made, like you'd eat in Napoli. We also shared zucchini fritti and a side salad which were both well done. Simple, good food. This will become a regular. It's tops.”

“When you are in London, how can you miss fish and chips? The Golden Hind is our go-to place. We loved all our choices, especially the calamari. Staffs are nice and friendly.”

“Had not been to this cafe for a while, due to being away. Hasn't lost its touch. Went in a few times this week. Had my usual toast, poached egg and salad. “Delicious Ugandan food. We tried a lot of different dishes. Everything was great. My absolute favorites were the groundnut stew (binyebwa/gnut) and whole fried tilapia with posho and matooke. My Dad was Ugandan and those were his favorite dishes, and they do them very well here. We also tried the goat and beef stews, chapati, samosas and goat tripe soup. If you like tripe, that soup is fantastic and the chapati with the stews are pure comfort food.”

“Like coming home! First of all, I’m a Canadian born East Asian who grew up in Burnaby BC. Coming to Masala was like returning to a part of my childhood. We have a significant Punjabi community and the food is always delicious. This food is a step higher. I suppose London has a greater selection of spices and herbs because the food was a wow! The kitchen had an issue, but they made it up by providing some espresso and the best Tiramisu we’ve ever eaten. We would return.
