“Monday evening I walk in to the barbers at 620pm. Barbers closes at 630pm. Wanting to look sharp for the next day, I was praying the barber was happy to stay potentially later than he had to. I could see on his face the dilemma he had but, after thinking about it for a second, he invited me in and was an absolute legend to chat to. Very grateful he fitted me in and thought he deserved for the world to know about it. Great haircut too.”

“I've finally managed to stop biting my nails after 40 years of trying and went here with some friends to get my nails done properly and painted. My fingers had a lot of bite damage around the edges when I went there, and my nails were not much better. However, I came out of there with nails looking brand new, shiny, and almost all of the damage has been cleared up. My nails look smashing, so smooth, and a deep shade of blue. Very impressed, highly recommend, definitely did a top job. Accidentally got gel nails, which will take some effort to get off, but it's been about 4 days and my nails still look as good as they did in the shop.”

“My favourite ironmonger. Everything is well laid out, the shop is always spotless and gleaming, the prices are marked and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been coming here for cleaning products, lubricating oils, paints, tools, lamps, lights, bulbs, wicks, naphtha, chimney flue cleaners, fixtures, fittings and batteries - probably more stuff than that which I've forgotten . . . like really, really long matches! Anyway, a great shop, a great place to shop and a great way to shop - I'd never get the same service on-line.”

We discussed my blood tests from last year in preparation for some blood tests this year and he added some additional tests for kidney and liver. He was also good enough to discuss my issues with ganglion cysts as well as some facial skin issues and has provided some creams for me to use. I was very pleased with the consultation. “Just perfect. Found this garage via AA Smart Service for an MOT in March. Pick-up and return of my XC90 all done within half a day and was able to do school runs. Interestingly I had a service done by a Volvo dealer just before and they claimed a fault on my car would fail the MOT - it turned out to be a nonexistent issue and the car rightly passed. I will keep these guys in mind for future work.....”

“Went in on 25.02.2025 to have a punctured tyre fixed. The gentleman informed me that a small puncture can be fixed without replacing the tyre and the two prices. Having looked at the tyre and its condition, he told me that's better to replace than fixed. I had a looked qt the tyre and agreed with him. I asked him to at my other tyre (both rear) and it was as bad as the other even though the threads looks good. It's the split along the groove and ruts that told me to have it changed. He did not pressure me to change at any one time. A frank honest man!”

“New Barnet Cabs.The 8 passenger people provider (Mercedes Vito) was truly spacious. We had lots of baggage along with hand baggage however this was all carried away thoroughly leaving all of us with a lot of leg space in the car. Our journey to Gatwick was smooth and an unwinded and a great start to our holiday. Bottles of water were available in the car for everyone. All in all an excellent experience, however. I would state an extremely trustworthy taxi service. Beautiful workers, and drivers. Would definitely recommend to anybody Thanking you again Century”
