“Absolutely loved the food. Everything was perfect. From the complimentary lentil soup starter to the traditional tea, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The meat was perfectly seasoned and grilled. The bread was scrumptiously soft and fluffy. The salads and condiments were all really flavourful. Could not fault a thing. The food service was really fast. Staff was courteous. “Amazing little place wondered around the area and found this place had a look and decided to stop in, having never heard or tried Romanian cuisine it was an uncertainty but I was gladly surprised. “Came here with a friend for lunch & was greeted by a friendly waiter who seated us. Has a very wide variety on menu & good prices. Good arrives pretty quickly & is very fresh & tasty. Good portion sizes as well. Waiter explained the options available with the skewers which was either 2 with chips or rice or 3 with bread & sauces. We asked if salad serves with meal & he said no but could order a side salad as well which was lovely & fresh. This came with our starters which was not a problem. When mains came they were served with a lettuce & raw onion as well as bread with a spicy sauce which made the meals very filling in now . Unfortunately we could not eat all but definitely great value for money. The only slight thing that let down service was when asked if we were finished we said yes & for the Fatayer to be packed for takeaway. At this point I would have expected the waiter to clear our table but instead we were left seated with our unfinished plates. Would have been nicer experience if they had been cleared away & not left until after we had paid bill & left. Despite this small let down would come back again as food was very good.”

“I saw this shop online and went there and try their sandwiches which were very good especially the paneer tikka sandwich which was very good and their masala chips were very great which made me remind my childhood and their chai was also very good. “I had the lamb curry dosa and it was icredibly delicious. The lamb curry was beautifully spiced and accompanied with a tomato chutney and an amazing coconut and mint chutney. Both ladies served me with a smile (which always goes a long way imo). Will definitely be travelling the 8 miles for this!”

“Eaten here twice, and it was delicious both times. First was a choose your own stirfry with lots of veggies. More recently, I wasn't very hungry, so I tried the chilli garlic mogo (pictured after I'd started eating), so flavoursome and big enough for a light meal on its own. Highly recommended!”

“Excellent food! We recently found out about Bang Bang and we’re able to try T.H.E Formosa and we’re delighted at how good it was. We had the popcorn chicken, bao, and pak choi. The chicken was perfect - it was crispy and succulent and so tasty. The bao was just as delicious as was the steamed pak choi. The pak choi in particular was fantastic. It had a lovely smoky flavour and came with a lovely dressing. There’s lots to choose from at Bang Bang but T.H.E Formosa is definitely my favourite!”

“5 stars for taste and quality. Probably the best moussaka in the UK. An unexpected surprise, made with fresh ingredients balanced spices and cooked to perfection. Tasty charcoal cooked souvlaki, Juicy and tender. Clean place with good space between tables. Large seating area. Joyful deco. The shop is not perfect, there are a lot of dishes on the menu that were not available, but it has huge potential to become one of the best restaurants in the area, especially now with the new chef who has huge experience in Greek cuisine. Definitely needs a visit.”

“Couldn’t have picked a better place for a delicious, filling, authentic curry meal for our first night in London. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We did not know this was a BYOB establishment, and when he realized that we’d wished we had known that, he told us to run next door and buy some beers from Aldi - and he saved the table for us! We are Americans and did not know how to properly eat our prawn puri appetizer, so he comically showed us the way. Food was 10/10 delicious. We cleaned our plates - which is rare for us. Maybe we were just hungry from the long day of travel, but I think there is something very special about this place. You will not be disappointed if you visit Akash!”

“Feels like home in Italy! Mascalzone is such a wonderful Italian restaurant that truly makes me feel like I was born there. The space is comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. The food is delicious — our favorites are the Ravioli Aurora and Pizza Quattro Stagioni, both always cooked to perfection. The staff, especially the girls, are very nice and attentive, which adds to the warm atmosphere. Prices are fair, and you absolutely have to try their amazing desserts! If you want authentic Italian flavors and a cozy vibe, Mascalzone is the place to be.”

“Really enjoyed the meal at the Reindeer cafe! They offer traditional canto style dishes at a very high standard. The charsiu was perfectly cooked with a good balance of fattiness and lean meat, with a subtle hint of sweetness from the honey. The roast duck was really tender and flavourful as well. The garlic choi sum was simple but delicious — well seasoned, not stiff or overcooked at all, and you can really taste the wok hei. Our highlight of the meal was the lamb hotpot, it was so tasty and the lamb literally just slides off the bone!! The portion size was generous so I’m glad that we brought some Tupperwares with us, wouldn’t want to waste any of this delicious food!! There’s a bakery in the cafe as well — we’ve particularly enjoyed the coconut peanut 糯米糍(mochi) and the egg tart. And oh! Don’t forget the milk tea too, which was made to perfection and perhaps even better than some of the 茶餐廳 I’ve been to in HK. Will definitely come back again for another meal!!”

The dough was perfect, and the ingredients on the special pizza were incredibly fresh, especially the salty, spicy ,peppers we had as a starter and the staff were very pleasant, though service was a bit slow during a busy period. Despite that, the pizza itself was expertly made in London! Hygiene ,fresh dough, Fast service and fast delivery as well .”
