“Booked a table last minute at The French Table and they manage to accommodate us for a colleagues birthday , from start to finish everything was merticulous. Great ambiance and the place is not overcrowded with many tables, they have 2 floors but the place is not too big. I asked for extras to be added on our table and in under 30 minutes they delivered. We had personalised menues with colleagues name on it. Everything i asked for, they delivered. Would definately visit again. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a Michelin type of a restaurant. Tasting menus, wine paring, good food, everything is just so done to perfection, the staff are so friendly.”

“Found this by chance and how lucky am I!? Our food was succulent, tender & absolutely delicious. We had Oxtail & Brown Stew Chicken, both with rice and peas; exceptional. Festivals were gorgeous. The Guinness Punch was lovely. All-in-all a fantastic experience and I’ll be returning for more as my monthly treat.”

“I work in London two weeks a month and this is always always always my go to place for brunch. I’ve been coming here for breakfast pretty consistently for about 6 months or more and every time the food was fresh, tasty, well presented, and came out quickly. The ladies are absolute gems as well. I went to a couple of other pricier and ‘fancier’ halal breakfast places in the surrounding area, but they never ticked all the boxes the way Jasmine’s do. It tends to be very busy on weekends but every time I got lucky and found a table, and again even when it was busy the food and service quality stayed the same which is a major plus.”

“Not had fish and chips for years. Looked up where to go as my son requested a bday treat while keeping up his lent restrictions. Our meals were all very good, especially the size and batter on the fish. Was crispy, not wet or stodgy at all. The owner Sam was very friendly, welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even threw in extra chips and a really lovely fresh salad for free. My mum was fascinated by how clean the shop was too. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others. They have unbelievable seafood tapas, fast and warm service that treats you like a mate and dry-aged steaks that are jaw-droppingly good and you simply won’t find this level of steak for this price in central London. The lamb and chicken meatballs are absolute must-tries, bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. The olives!!! Oh, the olives!!! Let’s just say that are best I’ve ever eaten! The cocktails deserve a shout too! Their selection is creative, beautifully garnished and so tasteful! The place is spotless and you can tell every plate has been crafted with love, each garnish carefully placed! I also just can’t get over the desserts (yes, me and my girlfriend tried all three). We had a brilliant day out, felt genuinely welcomed, and enjoyed delicious food and drinks in this lovely cozy restaurant (the outside vibes are also amazing over summer time). Wandle Pirates absolutely delivers the goods and you just get everything! “Best som tam, grilled chicken and sticky rice in London. Very authentic Isaan cooking at this lovely Thai cafe/deli. It's difficult to find really authentic Thai cooking in the UK, but Thai Duck Deli is like going for a meal in a Thai village. Spice levels go from mild to proper Thai-levels. They also have a good children's menu and toys + books to keep little ones entertained. And the freshly-made hot Thai tea is delicious and restorative. Will try one of their special curries (massamam or green curry) next time.”

“Never tried schnitzel food first time went to this restaurant n truly loved The sizzling Hawain the best in love juicy crispy overload, and the Mushroom Arancini is a delicious mix of crispy and creamy - a golden shell with a rich, earthy mushroom risotto centre. The schnitzel comes out perfectly golden-lightly breaded, tender inside, and seasoned just right. No greasy heaviness, just I at classic crackle when you cut into it. Love the ambiance the staff were very friendly felt relaxed and enjoyed the evening here”

“We went for my son’s 9th birthday and everything was great. My son loved the food and he is a fussy eater! He ate the tomato pasta with garlic bread. Six people came including three adults and three children. Two children ate adult meals and all rated 5*s. I loved the atmosphere and the chef and waitress were amazing and attentive. I ate the seafood spaghetti and I enjoyed it i would say 4 out of 5. The pizza looked amazing and the calamari are definitely the two that stood out and we all took a liking to. My seat did need a shake to remove a little mess and the table had minor crumbs. Otherwise the table was ready when we arrived as I called ahead. All was put right quickly and we all very much enjoyed the meal.”

“My 1st visit was November 24 and somehow I got mixed feelings for this place. After reading good reviews and that they have been rewarded one of the best when I went there felt a little disappointing. Stuff were absolutely chaotic and shouting to one another not paying attention to clients. The menu was missing many meals who can you have a fish section and only serve prawns and no other fish. I ordered keema naan and it was crispy and had like a blob of meat in the middle. Most of the food I eat in other places is far better. The atmosphere with this blue light is blinding.”

“Recently rebranded with new owners, and whilst i hate to see the previous owners go (as I have lived nearby my whole life and practically grown up going to this shop), the new ones have done an amazing job at keeping the standard! The quality of the chicken wings has drastically gone up since the rebranding, they brought back chicken donner and they didn't remove any of my favourites from the menu. Great rebranding whilst sticking to the original feel of the shop and menu. Best chippy I know of, keep it up guys”

The venue is lovely the food is fresh, succulent and mouth watering with their own twist in every dish (who knew pomegranate went so well with a breakfast). They are just so friendly and welcoming I would suggest walking in when you’re local.”
