“I give food a 4.5/5 currently just because I’m not always the biggest fan of Italian cuisine but also I have not tried a full range of their food yet. My dad absolutely loved the picante pizza and I have to agree, it tasted fresh and it’s got that subtle taste of the pepper paired with the pepperoni and cheese— mwah, it’s amazing. I got the steak frites it was also very nice but next time I go (hopefully) I will definitely make a point to explore the menu more.”

“As an American when I saw Boom Bap, I had to come in. I didn’t have high expectations on the food and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Notorious PIG and it was full of flavor, the burger was cooked perfectly, and all of the flavors complimented each other. Next time I’m in London I’ll be eating here again!!”

“We ordered the carbonara (guanciale was crispy and done perfectly) and the seafood pasta (prawns were very well marinated) and both were DELICIOUS. A note, the pasta was on the firmer side of al dente, still delicious! But perhaps note to the chef if that is not your preference :) The focaccia on the side was soft, fresh, and flavourful. The menu, while smaller than some larger restaurants, is all cooked to an extremely high standard!!! We finished with the tiramisu, which was also exceptional. Creamy, well-soaked with coffee, with delightful crunchy biscotti sprinkled on. Generous portions for both mains and dessert. We visited on a Saturday evening, and it was lively without being too crowded. We were seated immediately with no reservation. The music was fun (though not to my taste) and the decor was very down to earth.”

“ΑTTENTION: Will start with the negative, but will not affect my rating… when we got the bill, there was the usual 10% service charge added on the bill( not stated as optional), but on the pay machine they asked as for extra tip!!!!! This is unacceptable. Otherwise, nice minimal atmosphere and hand roll sushi. We chose the 5 pieces set menu, Sando and karaage, all delicious! They serve premade cocktails. Mochi for desert. A bit overpriced.”

“One of the best Turkish takeaways that I’ve had. Juicy pieces of meat with salad, sauce and it’s breads. Huge portions so you don’t need to worry about lunch the next day! My friend had the double gut buster (what a name!) which consists of two quarter pounder patties and a generous amount of lamb doner strips. PS this place only takes cash but there is a Tesco a few minutes away from the shop.”

“Newest favourite Sunday roast spot! The roasts here are enormous, beautifully cooked and well presented. The staff are sweet, friendly, and quick, and all next to a roaring open fire, perfect cosy Sunday on a freezing day! My favorite touch to the menu is that you can order a half portion of roast (for half the price) if you're not as hungry, and if you can't decide what roast you fancy you can also choose to mix (for the full portion only) There is additional seating at the back of the pub, a small seating area outside and also a games room downstairs. The pub is nestled between Broadway Market and Columbia Road, and there are even free dog biscuits for your pup, too. 10/10”

Although it’s located underground, it still feels relatively spacious — though a ground-floor venue would have been even better. The meats were excellent and full of flavor, and the wine selection was broad with plenty of options. The bone marrow butter was also delicious. “Came in for brunch with my girlfriend, greeted immediately with friendly service (attentive but not cloying). The kimchee Bloody Mary is delicious. Was seated immediately and even offered to swap to a comfier table despite the pub being busy. I had the full English which was very yummy with clear use of higher quality ingredients (especially the thick cut bacon which was the best I’ve ever had). My girlfriend had the croque Madame which was super delicious and decadent. Overall amazing experience and service can’t wait to return for the gammon steak and chips.”
