“We popped in to look at some soft furnishings after previously visiting and having a very happy experience about two years ago.. So thinking we’d have a look about which we did only for the staff to recognise us (from 2 years previously) and be aware of what we had purchased and where we were from.. absolutely outstanding service, the owner should be very very happy with his staff. The service we always receive is second to none. So to be recognised from a previous purchase is fantastic.. Btw the furniture we purchased is still as new… So no need to go to the big furniture companies and be a number, just visit The London Road Furniture Company and feel as an individual and very valued.. Congrats and see you soon. Regards Grant and Tania West Malling..!”
“I leave this review because the shop was so brilliant! This shop is excellent at communication, friendly and helpful from the start. Thanks to them, I was able to buy from Japan without any worries. The item I purchase is in excellent condition. I am delighted with my purchase! I'd love to deal with them again!”
“Hands down the best tortillas in all of London, and best tacos de carnitas too! Handmade blue corn tortillas really make the taco, and the fillings don’t disappoint. We tried tinga de pollo, pollo con mole, and chicharrón prensado. All of them were really good, but the absolute best were the tacos de carnitas. Deliciously moreish, so good we had to take some home, along with a couple dozen tortillas and salsa. Tere kindly packed carnitas and toppings for us, which we had today at home. And now I’m completely hooked, I’ll have go back for more soon. If you have a gathering at home (from a few guests to a big party), you can preorder tortillas, fillings, and toppings and you’ll impress everyone. The service is warm and attentive, and Tere makes everyone’s visit special. ¡Gracias! P.S. I’m from Mexico City. Some reviews have been critical of the ambience and waiting times. This is a market food stall, like the best ones in Mexico City, and there’s a special charm in that. As for waiting times, they are quite quick for London, way faster than any pub. Update: visited again for the special Dia de Muertos menu. Spectacular pozole, tamales, and agua de horchata.”
“We’ve been coming to Le Moulin for some fifteen years and have never been disappointed. We’ve ordered the most beautiful celebratory cakes and the pastries at this lovely little patisserie are exquisite. The cafe has a lovely homely atmosphere and the owners are always welcoming. We have tried many other menu items and they are always well prepared. We love the charm of Le Moulin and always look forward to returning.”
“Fantastic selection of ales and ciders. When one runs out Vince will put a new one out to try. Good pricing and everyone is really friendly here. If you like ale, you'll love it here”
“Best pub in Swanley by a mile. Incredible what they fit inside, but also the warmth of the welcome.”
“Like going to Italy to eat ! Amazing pasta and Pizza. Best tiramisu I’ve ever had.”
“Stumbled upon this lovely little cafe by chance this morning. Had a lovely cappuccino and breakfast bap. Delightful place”
“Manthan completely changed the way I think about Indian food. Their £30 Festive Linner is incredible value — six well-executed dishes with Michelin-level finesse. The Ghati Masala Prawns and Buttermilk Chicken were standout starters, and the Tulsi Chicken Chop was beautifully grilled. Both mains were flavourful and comforting, especially with the dal, rice and paratha on the side. Service was warm, and the peacock-blue townhouse setting in Mayfair feels elegant without being pretentious. A fantastic spot for refined Indian dining at a very reasonable price.”
“I’ve been here twice now on a recommendation.. tiny place always packed. The service and the atmosphere is lovely with dean Martin playing in the background. The food is to die for.. give it a try you won’t be disappointed”
“Delicious food, I got the chicken wrap and chilli momo dumplings which were absolutely amazing, i would definitely be coming back for the dumplings. The staff were very friendly and great service”
“I have attended here many times, both for parties and to dine with my family. There is a lovely private dining area, Which can be rented out to host parties or private dining for groups. The chef was great in working with us to select a menu that would please everybody! Food is reasonably priced and authentic. Will definitely return!”
“Arguably the best pub in Putney. Independently owned pub with a constantly rotating selection of great beers and ales, friendly service, and board games available which is always nice! There is a small beer garden if you are a smoker, but I wouldn’t bank on getting a seat. Also, staff are always friendly and helpful in recommending a good drink!”
“What a great place to eat, we were a party of 4 and one of out party was from Argentina so I wanted an authentic experience which we got! The owner has their own range of Malbec which goes superbly with the various cuts of meat cooked to perfection! If you love steak, you definitely have to visit this place!”
“Absolutely incredible experience at Provender. The service is unmatched and the staff are friendly and willing to explain the menu happily. The food is as authentically French as you can get. I would highly recommend the scallop starter and beef wellington. The duck special was also lovely and fresh. Can’t wait to visit again!”
“Lovely pub friendly staff and customers. Brilliant music. Management first class”
“Good location, host sent us useful instructions and code to check in. Felt very secure and safe . Room was pretty and very clean, amazing jacuzzi and comfy bed, big telly on the wall you could watch from the bed or the jacuzzi!! Really well equipped with tea coffee hot chocolate, toiletries, even a revlon hairdryer!! Plus a really nice cafe and restaurant downstairs. We would love to come back”
“Solid boozer. The kind of quirky pub that you’d normally expect to find down a back alley in the City - but out in Earlsfield. Super friendly staff. Shows key sports events, including football. Doesn’t do food but has a tie up with a local, reasonably priced pizza place which delivers to the pub.”
“Best coffee for miles around. Regular customer for over 10 years can't fault it, tasty custards (make sure you ask for a crispy one) and sandwiches. You can also grab Portuguese products. Can get noisy and busy at times, especially on the weekends.”
“Ladies behind the bar were quick and friendly. Lovely air-conditioned pub with comfy seating. Plenty of screens for sports. Great selection of drinks. Pricing very reasonable too. Nice atmosphere. Toilets spotless”
“Only went in for a couple before visiting other pubs and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd never been here before so didn't really know what to expect, and this place was great! Lovely staff, good atmosphere and a decent pint of Guinness. The locals were friendly too. I'd recommend giving this place a go.”
“Lovely little village pub on outskirts of Epping Forest. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere, Good food, we had two ploughman’s with cheddar, blue cheese and ham which were nice and fresh, two pints of Moretti all for £37 which we thought very reasonable. Good parking, plenty outside seating.”
“I went there for dinner and absolutely loved the food and the ambiance! You can tell that the cuisine was homemade and different from what you can find in a typical Italian restaurant! The owner came to check several times if we were enjoying our food which a plus!! The wine was great and the tiramisu delish!”
“Melissa was a joy! Delicious food and great ambience. Highly recommend the sticky chicken and sausage rolls!”
“A great pub in lovely country surroundings. They had indoor and outdoor seating. They came to our table to take our order, but also had an app. The staff are really friendly, it’s clean and roomy. For hiking, it was wonderful to have this pub on route. I would definitely recommend coming here.”
“Amazing from start to finish. Lovely food and I would highly recommend coming to experience the food.”
“What a fantastic Italian restaurant. Great service - swift and polite without being over bearing. I had the risotto, wow! Friend had Bolognese Calzone and that was absolutely gorgeous too. For dessert I had the chocolate and pistachio torte was which soft and delicate. Well recommended and will return if ever I'm in the area.”
“Great experience at Bakery Hotel. Big thanks to Sheila — our taxi never showed up, and we were close to missing our flight. She stepped in right away and drove us to the airport herself. Thanks to her, we made it on time. Sheila rocks!”
“Went for brunch on Sunday without a reservation. Had to wait for about 10-15 Mon for a table for 4 but all worth it. Had smashed avocado and American pancakes, my other half had pulled pork. All was great and looking forward to our next visit. Menu was looking great. Felt bright and modern. Service was polite, quick and efficient.”
