“Went Sunday night and it was quiet inside but the food did not disappoint at all. This will now become my goto Turkish even though I live close to yaprak in eastcote I think this is worth the 20 minute drive for the better food. Price is similar. I thought the seasoning and quality of the meat was better. Next time I am bringing my kids to see what they think but I think they will agree”

“A Proper Little Cafe - Great Find Was in Rickmansworth on a Saturday morning and looking for a proper brunch spot that wasn't a big chain. Stumbled upon Cafe Deli 122 and it was exactly what we were after. First off, it's a small place and was pretty bustling when we arrived, which is always a good sign. We managed to get the last free table. It's not a fancy spot by any means; it has that classic, unpretentious British cafe feel, which was perfect for a relaxed breakfast. The menu isn't huge, but it has all the essentials you'd want. I went for the poached eggs and my friend had scrambled eggs on a toasty bagel. You can tell they use good ingredients. My eggs were perfectly runny and served on some proper thick-cut toast. The coffee was decent too – a good, strong flat white that actually tasted of coffee, not just hot milk. Service was quick and friendly, no fuss. The lady behind the counter was managing the rush really well and still had a smile for everyone. The best part is the price. For the quality of the food, it's brilliant value. It's easy to see why it's popular with locals. If you're looking for a solid, no-nonsense breakfast or lunch that tastes great and doesn't cost a fortune, this is the place. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.”

“This place is a hidden gem! A small local and friendly pub with bug beer garden, but a hidden thai restaurant upstairs! The food was delicious and genuine thai, had a chance to meet the chef and she was a pleasure to talk to. We had to take takeaway after we finished dinner, which almost never happens to me. The staff was very friendly, we were served quickly and in general it was a lovely evening. Next time I am in the area, will have to stop for a meal!”

Met with a professional team, that care about their work, clearly trained to a high standard. Food allergies and care were taken very seriously, on top of there being many options should you have allergies. Amazing food to top it off. Highly recommend to you all. “We held a wake at the pub before it opened at 3.00pm. It was an excellent venue with first class food and service. Arun made sure our requirements were met for the day in question and nothing was too much trouble. Once the pub opened we had a large quiet area reserved for us to one side of the pub for those that needed to stay longer. Well recommended for any private gathering or event.”

“I've been living in Watford for 12 years and this is the first time I've tried this place. All I can say is, it's outstanding, not just for this area but it's one of the best Fish & Chips I've ever had. The batter was perfect (so many places get this wrong), as was the fish and the portions are HUGE. My son had one of the equally massive sausages wrapped in bacon, again, very good indeed. Service was nice and friendly and we didn't wait long for a freshly cooked takeaway. I wish I had found this 'plaice' a long time ago. (Banana in the photo for scale)”

Staff were polite and accommodating towards our needs and had a chuckle at our order. It's quite different for me but enjoyable. There are plenty of car parking spaces. “A lovely friendly pub. Very popular with the locals of Croxley Green but you’re made to feel very welcome on arrival. Seating outside front garden & also out the back garden which is nice, but over looks the car park. The car park can get full at peak times but not normally a problem to find somewhere local to park. Dogs are allowed both inside & outside and on the few occasions we have visited there has always been many dogs here. The vibe seems really chill & relaxed. Food is good, I always go for the superfood salad as it’s simply the most amazing thing which sounds strange for a salad but it’s amazing!”

“Life changing experience. The best food I have ever put in my body. In the history of ever. Really great service beginning to end, you are so taken care of. And the food sizes are pretty big actually; but don’t worry you can take it home with you too. The best nan I’ve ever eaten, not greasy at all. And the masala was incredible. Meaty and thick sauce.”
