“Went to Chaii & Spice with my sister and nephew today. The lady was lovely and our food was ready quite quickly. The atmosphere is calm and the board game tables are a nice touch. The food was well priced and had a homely feel, we especially enjoyed the papdi chaat and the karak chaii. Would definitely recommend coming here and supporting this family-owned restaurant.”

“Amazing shop. This place has everything and the staff are so friendly. Whenever I come in here, they treat me like family. The place is very clean and always fully stocked. Getting your oyster topped up here is the fastest thing in the world beating the machines twice. There is a wide selection of alcohol and sweets available as well! They even have American crisps Takis!”

“Eaten here twice, and it was delicious both times. First was a choose your own stirfry with lots of veggies. More recently, I wasn't very hungry, so I tried the chilli garlic mogo (pictured after I'd started eating), so flavoursome and big enough for a light meal on its own. Highly recommended!”

The mix grill was exquisite and grilled to perfection. The mixed shawarma wrap was served in the bread they make at the restaurant and was fantastic. Excellent service from the young lady waiter. The bill was very reasonable for the quality of food served. Please give this place a go if you're on Edgware Road!”

“We had a wonderful experience at Darna restaurant. The waiter was very kind and served us so many delicious starters, we were full before even starting the mains! The mains were absolutely delicious too and I loved he mango juice I ordered. Really enjoyable experience and we were even served free tea and baklawa which was very nice of them since it was Eid. We ordered a chicken shish, rice and sweet potato fries to split and it was delicious there was plenty of food for the two of us. Best chicken shish that we’ve had in a while. “Absolutely loved the food. Everything was perfect. From the complimentary lentil soup starter to the traditional tea, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The meat was perfectly seasoned and grilled. The bread was scrumptiously soft and fluffy. The salads and condiments were all really flavourful. Could not fault a thing. The food service was really fast. Staff was courteous. “So far this is the best Asian grocery store we have found. It's well stocked with a variety of the best brands and their live seafood selection is amazing. The lobsters are huge and they offer live Canadian dungeons crab. The also have whole suckling pigs and sell a lot of items by case/bulk. It's definitely worth the drive and you can have dim sum next door or try excellent BBQ'd meats in the cafe located inside the store.”

“My first evening in London after a long journey I ate at HAWLER. This was the best decision I made that day. The restaurant is bustling with a nice atmosphere and very hospitable staff. I had the lamb and chicken tikka and before even ordering I already had received a complimentary bowl of lentil soup, which was very delicious and lovely to warm up from the cold outside. The meal was wonderful as the charred meat was rich, tasty and tender. The table was so full with all kinds of extras to eat with the meal, something I am not used to but enjoy greatly. Very affordable price, I would recommend anyone in the area to check this restaurant out. First and definitely not last time I am having Iraqi cuisine!”

“Oh my gosh, this is one of my favourite Asian supermarket in London. This supermarket located in Colindale and it’s really near to where I live, so therefore I don’t have to go to Chinatown to buy any Asian ingredients for cooking. This place has different range of brands from all over Asia. The place is easy to find. All of their stocks are pretty organise and easy to be located. You can find different type of noodles here. My favourite section of this place is the pastry section. My favourite pastry is the mango pancakes and you must try it. The place is pretty clean and hygienic. The staff are super helpful and very friendly, I will definitely come back again to this place. If you live in a local area you’d be saving a lot of time to shop all of your Asian ingredients at this place.”

“This place came highly recommended to me and it did not disappoint! The food is super tasty, very friendly staff and they gave good and honest advise when ordering. Overall the food for me is better then most if not all Indian veg restaurants in the north/northwest London area. I normally travel to Wembley areas for a good Indian veg or dosa place but this restaurant easily bets them all. We ordered Crispy Bhajiya, Chilli Paneer, Pani Puri, Masala Mogo, Paneer Butter Masala, South Indian Thali, Chana Batura, Paneer Fried Rice, Plain Dosa and Bullet Naan. Everything we ordered was spot on and tasted very nice. If I had to say anything negative about the food it was that the Chana was a bit on the hard side, I prefer mines soft, but thats all. I am a meat eater but as far as veg food goes I have not had better even in a meat restaurant. Highly recommended if you are thinking about going!”
