“We had our big religious celebration there for around 150 people in Colin Peel Hall. The hall was very clean and big. The kitchen was clean and tidy, with oven and fridge. The toilets were clean too. Love their stage and green room. Perfect for having parties and celebrations. Staff was good too.”

The residence managers, Samuel and Mima, have always gone above and beyond to support residents—any issue, big or small, is addressed quickly and professionally. The building itself is modern, with great amenities including a gym, lounge, coworking spaces, parcel storage, and a fantastic roof terrace. The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to the train station and Sutton High Street, making commuting and shopping incredibly easy. “Had another great meal at Lal Akash. This time I went for the Railway Lamb Curry and it was spot on, tender lamb, rich sauce and just the right amount of spice. You can tell everything’s made with care. The staff were lovely as always, and the place has such a warm, welcoming feel. It’s the kind of restaurant where you instantly feel comfortable. Definitely one of my favourite spots in the area.”

“This is by far the nicest Chinese I have ever eaten. We went for the buffet. The lady that served us also cooked some of the dishes and was so helpful in showing me everything that was gluten free on the menu. I was blown away with the amount of options I could choose from and she even cooked my dishes using gluten free soya sauce. I have never been so comfortable eating at a Chinese restaurant. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. We will be back very soon.”

“Very excited to have a new Thai place in town, we had to try it out - and it was delicious! Satay was amazing, prawn tempura was great, and the curry and rice was very filling, great flavour. Also, at the restaurant they have a really neat porch area where they hand you the food, contact free. Nice to see that building finally used. Might have to eat-in next time, it’s great. X”

“YES YES YES. Amazing owners and staff, always making me feel welcome. My favourite eatery in all of Sutton. Prices are fair, portion sizes are amazing and the flavours are delicious. There are vegetarian and vegan options. The plantain and patties are tasty and you must try a tradition Trini double which is two fried bread with curried chickpeas in the middle. YUM.”

The service was really friendly and relaxed and we were not made to feel like we should not order more food. The starters we had were nice, but give the chicken satay a miss as it wasn’t super flavourful. The crispy seaweed is good. Wonton soup good. Pakchoi was nice and I had it with rice and a beef dish which was good. Then had desserts which were also yummy. I had a nice meal, thought food and service was good and I would go back. I have seen some negative reviews and do in a way agree the price point is quite high for buffet, but I thought the quality was definitely better than a buffet and it’s nice to be able to choose exactly what you want.”

“Very quiet at times just missed out on food in the morning and there is a bit of a gap before they serve food again which was disappointing. Coffee was beautiful if I must say so. You get three hours free parking if you dine in to even if it's just a coffee just scan the QR at the bar.”

“Love it...but the lifts are a constant problem! Why not fix them ALL at once and save on call-out costs. Lovely friendly staff and a good layout! Also...could you pay me for working there when I'm forced to scan my own shopping? You need to put an option for an hourly rate so i can get paid accordingly. I dont like shopping so im pretty quick! I can give you my bank details but I'll need some sort of induction and I feel like I'll get taxed heavily for having a second job! What can we,as a team do about this? “Sutton Deichmann was excellent customer service, i had an issue with the hounslow branch and croydon branch as they lied about changing or refund the shoes. After serious complaint this branch changed the shoes no issues. If you go to any branch of Deichmann and they say they can't change, refund or if you got 2 left pairs like me and they say they can't don't listen to them..stay there until they change or refund or ask for manager. As i can confirmed that you can change as i been told by they senior manager and area manager.”
