The facility itself was spotless, and it was clear that the staff took great pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. They had all the necessary tools and equipment to groom dogs of all sizes and breeds, and I could see that they were experienced in handling different temperaments. My dog looked and smelled amazing after his grooming session, and I could tell that he had enjoyed his time there. I was also given helpful advice on how to maintain his coat between grooming appointments. Overall, I highly recommend this dog grooming place to anyone looking for a professional and caring service for their furry companion. The staff were excellent, and the results were fantastic.”

“The staff here is really friendly and attentive. Once, being poorly, we ordered tissues and other healthcare supplies from them, and they wrote a very kind ‘get well’ on the paper bag, another time, we have left my daughter’s water bottle in one of their trolleys, and they kept it safe for us, they’ve also been helpful if we needed boxes for a school project. Apart from their products always meeting the standards, it’s so important to have a local shop, where you really feel like a valued customer, and it’s all down to their employees.”

“Excellent service and workmanship! I needed to have my old lead water pipe changed to a new plastic pipe running from my kitchen to the mains in the street. I contacted a few companies about this job, with one saying they couldn’t access the kitchen pipe very easily so quoted a high price, and another said the job was complex and would take 3 days, and then quoted an extremely high price. But thankfully, Martin at Smashing Groundwork’s knows exactly what he is doing due to his previous experience of working for SES water company. For Martin the job was straightforward and only took one day to complete. Reasonably priced too. So I was more than happy with the service and would definitely use this company again. Professional and reliable.”

“Incredibly pleased with the service David at Hendy's gave us. I had my mum's ring, and my 2 nans rings and David got one made bigger, and the other rhodium plated so I could match with my platinum rings. With my mums ring, David gave the idea to use the stone for a necklace and with a platinum chain. He did such a good job, communication through text was really helpful once the pieces were ready to collect. Highly recommend our local gem of a jewellers.”

After months of looking and believing that none of the amazing clothes would fit me or suit my body shape I found the perfect outfit for my Niece's wedding reception next month. “I usually don't post reviews about stores because they are basically all the same. But this store is very organised and most importantly the best customer service. Manager was very cooperative and active. And i can understand why everything was perfect. A few days ago, I bought a charging cable in 5 pounds from another store and i was happy to see the same cable in 1.45 pound. The prices are very good. I think this is the best place. I have very good experience. Please ignore the negative comments because in the past the things may have been worse. But now, it was perfect place. I will definitely recommend.”

“I'd ignore all the 1 star reviews from people complaining about parking fines..... The signage is clear enough and I've managed to get my parking fines rescinded easily - this has happened a few times when I've done a massive shop that I didn't complete within the 1.5 hours. If I could make one recommendation, it would be to increase the parking time to 2 hours.... It's in no way a scam, but the system could be better implemented and pick a different partner than Parking Eye - they are ghouls. Now that that is out of the way, I'm rating it a solid 5 stars.... I get twice as many groceries, including quality fresh meat, veg, beer and wine, when compared to Waitrose or Sainsbury's. I reckon I save thousands each year. Clean, efficient, well laid out, friendly and helpful staff and good selection of products coupled with the value makes it very easy to recommend.”
