“Our Pakistani friend took us to Haweli restaurant in Ilford for dinner. We had lamb and chicken curry, lamb biryani, various kebabs, it was delicious, and our first time having Pakistani food, we all loved it. Sumbul provided excellent service. She was very polite and hospitable.”

We came here once before and were given some sweet goodies as a kind gesture, it really stuck with us so obviously we had to make sure to come back. This time we were treated with the same warm welcome and kindness. The man who works at the till is such a sweetheart, always so attentive to the customers and never fails to put a smile on our face before we leave, he really makes up for most of our experience. “I had previously ordered cholula chicken sizzler pizza which was really well made and 5-star for taste. Speed of service is always great as they make the pizza ready on time. Taha helped me to build my own pizza and which I believe really helpful for customers who are confused.”

“Came here because we were at the water park down the road and needed somewhere to eat. The restaurant there is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Sweet 1ne had the highest ratings in the area, for good reason. Very tasty food, and very friendly staff. Even the gym guy was very friendly (it's inside the gym). Highly recommend!”

“Good local Chinese restaurants are on the wane so thank the stars for Mandarin Palace. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous indeed. The service is prompt and courteous. There is parking apparently round the back. The toilets are clean but in need of refurbishment. Celebrating 50 years so 15 per cent off (dining only) up to 31 July 2024! Expensive but worth it. We went to celebrate my daughters 18th. The portions are HUGE so if ordering set menu perhaps order for one less person.”
