“We had our wedding dinner here on Saturday. Wow and just wow. We were well looked after by Lisa the manager and her husband the head chef. The quality of the food is really out of this world (fit for a king!). Fresh food that is beautifully presented to the Michelin level that is second to non. We were really made to feel special for our evening and nothing was too much trouble. We had silver service and the choice of food given to us blew our guests away! We are so excited to tell all our friends about this restaurant because it really is a gem! There are 2 private rooms and the main dining area is very spacious for a meeting or dinner with friends. Highly highly recommended to make a visit here. This is our new favourite. Everything is fresh and gourmet. The soups are out of this world too! P.S. highly recommend the Peking duck! You would not regret it! It is a signature dish that is done perfectly and is heavenly.”

The choice of food was enough to choose from and very filling. Our server Safwaan was always on hand and recommended a few dishes as well as attending to the table without us asking. Would highly recommend to friends and family for a lunchtime brunch or evening meal.”

“There is a Japanese and Indian restaurant in the same location. We chose Japanese. Every dish is available with Tofu making lots of Vegan choices. Food and service was good. I had red curry. For me the sauce was a bit thick and not spicy enough but it was very good. My wife loved it. Only complaints are Desserts are dull and no non-alcoholic drinks but there are plenty of other things we want to try on the menu.”

“Friendly staff, good location for bus. For the price this hotel is perfect. Great shower, shower gel and shampoo supplied, has sink, fridge microwave and toaster, smart TV on wall. We were in a back room., so no view. Did not try the breakfast as no free tables when we went, but I assume you wouldn't wait long. Appeared to be a good choice, and the option of fresh omelette. Vending machine in reception, local shops foer supplies .Great hotel, nothing negative to say for the price. Thanks for a great 2 night stay.”

“I've walked past this pub many times but this was the first time going in. Lovely little beer garden, friendly staff and very reasonably priced food! Sandwiches (+ chips) were about £6 and a very big portion. Only complaint was that it did take a long time to come, but totally worth it. Our son fell and bumped his head and staff and other patrons helped to get us an ice pack and checked on him. Right between the 2 stations, so perfect for a quick drink if you have a long wait between trains. Pool table, and family friendly. Will definitely be back!”
