“The word is correct. These bagels are special, precious, beautiful things. What a wonder the one with egg and American cheese with special sauce and the addition of a potato latke is. Just utter breakfast deliciousness in five or six bites… depending on how big your mouth is. I would go as far as saying this is up with the best breakfast meal you will find anywhere in our wonderful capital city right now. Make the trip down to Ladywell for it.”

“I have been there for a few Brazilian theme parties and the food was great, the atmosphere was great too and the service and price of the drinks were great too. Nice pub to go and have a good time.”

“Stumbled across this wonderful place whilst on our way to a different gastropub. Glad we ended up here instead! We went for a Sunday roast with the Haddock and chips which was well made and good value. Atmosphere was cosy, though it was fully booked on Sunday we sat in the back garden which had heaters above each table. Only criticism is that we were asked to move to a different table due to a group booking midway through our meal. But otherwise everything else was fantastic!”

“Amazing salad and prawn toast. I had the season yum salad. Spicey and DELICIOUS. Maybe I’m a pig but I’d have liked the salad to be a larger portion for the price however, there was a fair bit of seafood in it.”

“Recently booked the upstairs of Arancina for a quick bite for a group of 18 since I needed an informal place to just hang out for @90 minutes to grab some pizza and a drink. The location was perfect and Edoardo made it very easy for my group to hang out upstairs and his staff was wonderful! Pizza was really good (fresh and nice varieties) and so was the Arancina. We pushed tables together and ate family style with passing pizza around and it was exactly what I was hoping for since it was quiet and we could end our day all together for a quick, inexpensive bite. I hope to do it again next year!”

“We were walking along the riverfront and looking for a place to have a few drinks. None of the usual bars caught our eye, but the cocktail mene here did, so we went in. I have had the burgers before, and they are delicious, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cocktails too. The vibe and atmosphere was great too! Not just a good burger joint;)”

“We loved every bit of it! The food was amazing; a great range to choose from. We especially enjoyed the Goong Chu Chi (chef's special) with coconut rice, YUM! We were stuffed by the end of the main course, but couldn't resist the temptation for desserts. Ordered Thai Pancake and the in-season special, Mango and Sticky Rice and devoured both! On top of that, the service was top teir, very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return!”

“This place is super cute, Jessica our server was so friendly and helped out with recommendations. Absolutely everything we had was delicious - from the guacamole and authentic corn tortilla chips, to the pork belly tacos, hibiscus quesadilla, and the Mexican chocolate ganache. “It’s a beautiful little French cafe at Kingston. We had a chicken and garlic wrap and chicken & bacon wrap with a cappuccino. The portion was a good size and it tasted delicious. We also had a pistachio cheese cake slice, it was good too. They had a good selection of desserts. Everything is reasonably priced. You can sit outside with a coffee and just watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend this place.”

“The restaurant vibe was like an Iranian Kababi and I didn’t expect this nice and juicy Koobideh at all! It was so tasty and delicious served with a nice rice. The portion size and price was so reasonable for this tasty food and I highly recommend it. I think it’s very common to have a take away as I saw lots of people collecting their order. Also the waitress was a really nice and helpful woman.”

“My first evening in London after a long journey I ate at HAWLER. This was the best decision I made that day. The restaurant is bustling with a nice atmosphere and very hospitable staff. I had the lamb and chicken tikka and before even ordering I already had received a complimentary bowl of lentil soup, which was very delicious and lovely to warm up from the cold outside. The meal was wonderful as the charred meat was rich, tasty and tender. The table was so full with all kinds of extras to eat with the meal, something I am not used to but enjoy greatly. Very affordable price, I would recommend anyone in the area to check this restaurant out. First and definitely not last time I am having Iraqi cuisine!”

“Recommended. Cold, rainy night, we were looking for a warm setting and good food. Mediterranean cuisine a plus. Pub food didn't interest us. The menu suggested a lentil soup, my bride's go-to comfort food. We decided to give it a try. The hour was early, we were seated promptly, and served up with some fresh bread and hummus. WARNING: The fresh bread is dangerous. I wanted to make a meal of it. The red lentil soup was a hit - hearty, satisfying. I had a grilled chicken fillet with basmati rice - delicious. We ordered wine with the meal, we enjoy a nice Pinot Noir. Closest they had was a Merlot and a Turkish red wine. Turkey makes wine? Decided to give it a try. I offered my bride a sip of the Kavaklidere Yakut Red. Smooth, low tanins, very satisfying. She liberated my Yakut, I drank her Merlot. Both were good. Very happy with the experience - would visit again.”

“Just been today for the first time and absolutely loved it. The owners are very friendly and kind and the food is amazing. There's space to seat outside as well. You can go for breakfast as well as any other meal. They also make drinks. A shame I couldn't post the pic of the hummus but we were too busy eating it! Absolutely delicious!”

“My last birthday treat from my gorgeous girl. We ate early, 16:30, but there were already a few diners and it filled up quickly. We started with the calamari, done in a way I’ve never tried, I highly recommend if you love calamari and are looking for a fresh idea (I’m sure I am late to the party). We had Pad Thai prawn, the duck and green curry for mains, all delicious, the coconut rice and roti were both perfect compliments. We ordered and ate a lot but we didn’t feel overfull. All in all, we had a lovely meal and would recommend you book a table if you love Thai cuisine.”
