“As I have naturally very curly hair and move from place to place a lot, I have had trouble finding a consistent stylist who does a good job with my hair. I tried Headmasters on a recommendation for a trim last year and it went well, but this most recent experience was what earned my undying love for the New Malden Headmasters in general and Ellie specifically! Everyone in there is amazing, but Ellie took my midlife crisis in stride and transformed my hair in exactly the way I wanted! I have normally kept my hair around shoulder length but it was in pretty bad shape and needed a drastic change which Ellie pulled off perfectly. The atmosphere of the salon is also amazing, with everyone being very helpful and friendly, constant offers of coffee/tea/biscuits, fun music and good recommendations for styling products etc. Definitely will continue going here for the foreseeable future!”

“they have absolutely everything I needed, i kept asking for little things that the bigger stores like B&Q didn't have and they'd go off and find them, amazing. Even more amazing are the prices, you'd expect little shops like this to be extortionate, but no, cheap as chips, the way it should be. I love this shop, it reminds me of grandfathers garage, a throwback to better times. Customer service is second to none, tell them what you need or the problem you have and I'm sure they'll be able to fix it or solve it.”

“I went to this shop with my husband, he wanted some fibre washers for his old car, they didn't cost much, but the man behind the counter was so helpful and friendly. It would have been worth it just to speak to him. If you want things for your car, this is the shop to go to. I just know you would go back again. “I had a magic-straight perm last month and a root colour today. My hair is gorgeous, shiny and straight as in the picture and my colleagues and friends have been asking me which salon I went to. My husband also had a haircut and Sunny advised him on how to manage the style from his natural curl type. I could tell she had a deep understanding of hair styles. Sunny works on an appointment only system and dedicates her time solely to the client. I have seen some people try to do a walk-in but she politely suggested they make a future appointment which I felt relieved as I did not want to share my hairdresser and divert her attention - I am sure others will feel the same. She's very kind and considerate and I always enjoy going to her salon. Although the interior is not most modern, the shop is meticulously clean and full of sunlight with a large window.”
