“The place was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. From the first moment you feel welcome, greated with a genuine smile. A big selection for meat eaters, but vegetarians will find few options as well. The portions are huge, and look very well presentable. Food is fresh and tastes really good. The cafe is very clean and well maintained. I liked quiet music in the background.”

“Leila recently catered for our wedding. Food was one of the most important choices for our wedding and Leila was the first place we went, and I'm so glad we did. The food was incredible, with so many of our guests commenting that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Raef is fantastic to work with and he was the most relaxed person to deal with; nothing was a problem. His staff were also fantastic on the day, as well as the wonderful Zara. “This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“I got as far as the door before finding dogs weren't allowed. It appeared to be the first time someone has asked - as the staff stared silently at each other before telepathically deducing that the answer was no. Anyway, my wing man ordered the coffees which were of good quality and supplied in a timely fashion. Sadly, I was only able to get a picture of the inside through the closed door, but it looked nice, cosy and clean inside. Outside seating has been created in an imaginative and optimistic way...which makes it difficult to get a picture of the place without including an industrial bin!”

“Finally managed to go and visit this newly opened Starbucks restaurant. I love to start my day with a strong extra hot cappuccino and this didn’t disappoint! I like their new coffee selection so much, but what I like more so is the barista team here at uxbridge road. They are all very friendly and accommodating with any requests. I have noticed the way they deal with people is just that bit nicer than other local coffee shops, and it all makes a difference. Thank you Starbucks for employing a wonderful team at your new restaurant. By the way I love your new outdoor seating designs with a lawn, can’t wait to use it in the summer!”

“Room was large with a great bed, lots of different pillow types and sleep quality was excellent, rooms were also quiet. TV, wifi was perfect, lots of charge points including a EU socket. I liked the large window with roller blinds too. Breakfast had a very good range of products, self service or you could order specifically cooked eggs. Some food options nearby or their Zoom restaurant is available as was room service.. Most of all it's the first hotel I've been in where they had recycling bins in the room. A great stay, and staff were very good too.. oh and the rooms have fridges too!!!”
