Not only is it great for picking up sporting supplies, the staff and security are friendly/helpful, AND there are all kinds of activities going on upstairs. These are affordable and provide a safe space to try out an activity. As a result, Canada Water has become a great place to live if you’re into sports / trying out new activities. Shout out to the taekwondo classes - these have been the highlight for me and I 10/10 recommend them.”

GSB gets it right, with a fair price and very good haircuts and beard trim and shaving. They are also extremely friendly and also speak fluent Arabic and French. Highly recommended!”

“Dr Trudie saw my daughter after her school recommended she get help for her exam related anxiety. Trudie made an assessment and predicted that the root cause was ADHD. She proposed that my daughter do the test, and that depending on the result we would look into appropriate medication. The test concluded that ADHD was a factor and Dr Trudie recommended a course of medication. She was very clear about the possible side effects associated with the medication. She was also extremely supportive and made herself available in case there were any adverse effects. The benefits of the medication were immediate with very few side effects, and the focus increased dramatically whilst the anxiety disappeared. Dr Trudie worked with our local GP so that third party care could ensue and my daughter who has now finished school feels that she can manage her care going forward. As a family - We are very grateful to Dr Trudie for helping us get through a difficult time and we feel very lucky to have been under her care. We would recommend her unreservedly.”

If I want to go enjoy a bit of a quieter environment I’d book for the Sun terrace where you can be away from the pool and enjoy a lovely sun lounge!”

Upon seeing this Clarks boutique beside the Westminster Cathedral, my wife and I didn't hesitate to enter. What we truly appreciate in this particular Clarks branch weren't the rows and rows of shoes (real eye candies!) neatly lined and displayed but the superb customer service that they have shown and delivered to everyone who went in. Special mention to Victor for giving us a truly excellent customer service and for being knowledgeable in all the products. He just went above and beyond not just for me but also for the mother and son who came to buy a pair of school shoes. Excellent work that truly deserves praise! I highly recommend this branch, not only for its extensive shoe lineup but for the wonderful service that the entire team gives to their customers. “I had a wonderful experience here with Zara, one of Elegance Beauty's experienced beauticians. I had a Zo peel, which was perfect for my slightly oily and acne prone skin. I was fortunate to meet the owner, Karen, who is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I felt welcomed and in good hands from start to finish. A thorough consultation was followed by being made to feel extremely comfortable in the treatment room. During treatment I was almost drifting off as ambient music played in the background whilst Zara got to work on my skin. At the end of the hour session my face felt fresher than it has in years and I am still glowing five days on! I'll absolutely be returning here for regular treatments. I can't recommend this place more highly!”

“Walked by on a weekday, saw there was a fencing club up-there. There is also boxing and I wondered what it would be for me. Tried both and Yossif ("maitre d'arme") was just amazing. It's been a real pleasure, releasing some steam every Wednesday. Brought a couple of friends and everybody had so much fun, Yossif is great for new starters to most advanced! I've checked around London and fencing clubs are ridiculously overpriced with staff that are not even good international fencers, Yossif is a one man band working hard but with a big smile on his face and welcoming eyes. Go and check it out, you'll enjoy as much as I did. Unfortunately work keeps me busy 70 hours/week now so can't really comit to it atm, but will go back some days and practise my lunge ;-)”
