“As a photographer, Scots Richmond is such a hidden gem to work at. Tucked away in the beautiful surroundings of Richmond, it offers a lovely mix of charm, character, and style. The space has this warm, intimate feel while still being elegant, which creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed yet classy wedding day. From a photography point of view, there are so many great backdrops to work with whether it’s the stylish interiors, the natural light filtering through the windows, or the nearby greenery for outdoor portraits. The team at Scots Richmond are also fantastic super helpful, kind, and genuinely care about making the day run smoothly for everyone involved. “What a lovely and amazing place. The dining rooms are as beautiful as the food. Its however more expensive than a Michelin starred restaurant. £394 for 4 of us. So control the drinking! Loved the litre of sicilian lemonade, reminded me of Glastonbury lemonade carts. My only little gripe, was it was winter, I had a long coat, and the host should have taken our coats as there is only a dirt floor and your coat tails trail in the dust. They eventually came to hang it up in their cloakroom”

“This place deserves much higher review points. Everything is perfect. Literally perfect It has been around many years. Feels so cosy with carpet and cushion decoration. Lighting and music really on point and good. Really helpful staff. Enough time between the meals. Had beef tartare and tempura squid and prawn as a starter. Burger and beef stroganoff for main. Cost around £60 per person inc service charge which is really reasonable for the quality they are providing. Thanks”

“This is one of the best restaurants we have been to in London. The staff were lovely and the food was absolutely fantastic. The use of spices was incredible, if you order the potatoes (Aloo Tuk) you will spend the entire meal trying to figure out what they are seasoned with. Absolute magic. Do yourself a favour and get yourself here, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Sat a outside on a cute street with lots of small village charm. This is an adorable petit French bistro! Unfortunately the chicken dish was out, so I opted for the vegetarian item of the day. It's was delicious. I started with the French onion soup, per recommendations. It was good, but I regret not trying something else. Highly recommend stopping by after a visit to Kew!”

“Went there for lunch. Aged ribeye steak and chargeilled chicken breast are delicious. Lunch menu has a lot of choices. Good food and atmosphere with nice music. Gelato is yummy.”

“We came here for dinner via the Fork. Place is close to Richmond station with free parking nearby after 4:30pm. We got the poppadum. We had the pani puri, sheekh kebab and paneer tikka. All were great with a kick to it. For the main we got Lamb saag and chicken curry with naan and rice. The food was quite spicy and flavourful. Bill was around £55 which is reasonable.”

“We got a takeaway for a family of 6. We love the huge portions, and generous amount of chips. Really cannot fault anything... It is also very nice that they also offer grilled options, on top of their selection of battered deep-fried goodies. Everything is delicious!”

“We came for a "proper Sunday roast" and it did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal and service equally wonderful. We split a beef roast, mussels and smoked salmon pate for our family of 3. We finished with the Christmas pudding. It was more than enough and each dish was spot on! The staff were friendly and attentive and the ambiance was everything one would hope for an English pub. “We’ve visit The Britannia several times over the past few years (every time we visited Richmond) and the experience was great every single time. On our most recent visit we tried the cheese soufflé, the fish and chip and the turbot. Every dish was delicious, fish on both mains was cooked to perfection, service was friendly and courteous. Wine list is great as well. Highly recommend for a great night out and exceptional food experience.”

“Went there with the family, I had the chicken pizza and the amazing volcano Pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. The complementary olives and the tasty small bread were as tasty as well. Cant recommend the place enough. The staff was friendly and experience. you should definitely try it soon.”
