“This was the best Italian food I've ever had. The bread was so soft and savory, the cheese was so nutty and flavorful, and the olives were the best olives I've ever had, taste and texture. And that's just the Starters! The stuffed pasta was incredible and the fish tasted amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful accommodating our 10 month old with a personal chair and extra care. He loved the mushroom soup! Incredible experience overall. A bit on the very expensive side.”

“My experience was online and I visited their website yesterday evening to purchase a bottle as a gift. Placing an order was very easy to do and it was great to see that there was a local delivery option available too which I took advantage of. Received a phone call this morning confirming my order and to arrange delivery for a time which was suitable to me. I opted anytime today and loved the fact it got delivered within the hour. Absolutely great service from Jonathan who promptly delivered my wine to the doorstep with a smile. Will definitely return and consider Banstead Vintners as my first port of call for wine purchases in the future. Prices were competitive for the wine I was after, so I'm really pleased with the experience overall.”

“A Fantastic Italian restaurant in the heart of London! O’ver is a true gem near Piccadilly Circus. The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. I had the pizza which I watched get made there fresh with the firewood oven! Also had the prawn & squid hot starter - delicious! & finished off with ice cream for dessert! The staff were very welcoming , friendly and always making sure everything was ok! the atmosphere was warm and inviting & I loved the candlelit dinner it made it very calming & wholesome . “Absolutely incredible roast. Great portion size. Lush roasties. Definitely the best pub cauli cheese I’ve ever had. I had chicken which I’d never normally pick but it looked fantastic. It did not disappoint. Really crisp flavourful chicken breast that was really moist. The only slight disappointment was the gravy. Which was very standard. Not unexpected when catering for such huge numbers but was the only thing on the plate that wasn’t 10/10. Will definitely be back. Thank you!!”

“Wow! So this was a quick last minute dinner with my son. The restaurant was very accommodating and was very patient with our indecisiveness. When we finally knew what we wanted we were thoroughly impressed. From the quality of food, to taste, to service, everything was just perfection. A personal recommendation for their scallops with Caviar. Please please order this. Its one of the best things I've ever tasted. Complements to the chef for great preparation and great timing also (leaving a little gap between starters and mains so we weren't really full. A very nice touch). Great Service and will be back!”

“We came for a "proper Sunday roast" and it did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal and service equally wonderful. We split a beef roast, mussels and smoked salmon pate for our family of 3. We finished with the Christmas pudding. It was more than enough and each dish was spot on! The staff were friendly and attentive and the ambiance was everything one would hope for an English pub. Highly recommend!”

“I really enjoyed everything about this place. They have different style rooms depending on where you prefer to eat. I ordered the goats cheese and beetroot as the starter which was fantastic. I got the side of the tomato beef ragu pasta which was amazing but exactly the right size for my small appetite that day - they also brought a whole bowl of Parmesan for me to help myself. For dessert I ordered the brownie and doughballs with Nutella which came with icecream. I personally was not a fan of the brownie or the ice cream I wish there had been the option to just have a bowl of the doughballs as I had seen in other reviews as these were amazing. The tables were quite close together and it was really quite loud. I hope they invest in some sound absorbing panels. I would recommend and will be coming back. I have been again since and the pasta was still fantastic. We also ordered the mushroom risotto however this was lacking a bit of flavour, the walnuts were a nice touch. I do have to say the staff are fantastic about making adaptions to meals to intolerances.”

“Went here last Thursday as heard they did a good quiz night. Had a burger and a couple of pints of Guinness zero; burger was top notch, proper gourmet stuff and we really enjoyed the quiz, we somehow won! Only downside was that it was a bit quiet, probably helped us win the quiz though. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming.”
