“Hadn't booked, but given great table at front of restaurant. Made to feel very welcome. Menu not huge, but descriptions full and explanatory. 3 different dishes, all equally delicious. Best Bengal meal ever. I've travelled down from Scotland to visit family, but will definitely come back.”

“I absolutely love Coriander curries. The staff are always really friendly. They this year opened a second restaurant nearer the Four banks end of Barlow Moor Road. The 'old' restaurant handles all of the takeaways. The new restaurant is spotless and always very busy. Overall, I would go as far as saying that it is my favourite Curry house of all time. I would recommend the Lamb Shaslic.”

“We booked the Christmas dinner for 3 on Christmas day. The staff were friendly and professional and went out of their way to help. The food was lovely and we were not rushed to receive the next course. All in all a great experience and we left with full tummies. It was my partners 60th birthday as well and the staff organised a sash and a birthday card finishing it all off nicely with a candle on a mince pie. Thank you to everyone. He had a lovely surprise.”

“Beautiful shop filled with stunning furniture. We bought a gorgeous 60s teak easy chair with mustard yellow upholstery. It is perfect for our living room and is so comfy. I always take a peak in when passing by as they have absolute gems.”

“We ate at Zaytoon for the first time last night and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing; just delicious. We had the mezze platter and a whole sea bass, and everything was perfect. One of us wanted more lamb and had the kebabs, which he said were delicious too. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back.”

“Indian Affair is hands down my favourite spot for Indian food in Chorlton - I come here regularly and always leave full & happy. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. My go-to order is Butter Chicken with their garlic naan and perfectly cooked pilau rice. The Lamb Nihari is another favourite - rich, tender and a great portion size! And if you love street food-style starters, the Samosa Chaat is a must-try. On top of the amazing food, the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. Whether you’re dining in or getting a takeaway, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend checking this place out!”

“Awesome GF pizza, but uses the same woodfired oven for all pizzas so always potential risk. I've been here maybe 20 times and never had a reaction to the pizza though so they must be careful with how they managed it. BYOB or have a Tory Fanta like true people of culture.”

“The Malaysian restaurant to go in Manchester region. Great variety of Malaysian food available with good portion. Starters wise the satay, rojak and roti canai with curry is pretty good although the price for the satay is a little on the higher side. Mee Goreng and Nasi Lemak both are pretty good main options. Good variety of Malaysian drinks available as well. If looking for Malaysian restaurant in Manchester this would be their one to go. Limited parking outside. Sometimes can get a little busy during weekends so might need to book prior but otherwise seats are usually available. Waiting time varies with crowd.”

“Can’t fault our visit. I normally order for delivery as it’s easier with our baby. Was a pleasant meal and the man on shift was great with our daughter, she was being quite loud and the lovely man came over with things to keep her entertained and it helped massively. Can’t thank him enough, it’s stressful going for a meal with a little one but this man made it that bit easier when he didn’t have to. Thank you! Rasta pasta is unreal”

“Delicious meal. I had the tandoori lamb shank, on the recommendation of the waiter - the meat just fell off the bone and was served with a very flavoursome gravy/curry. It was lovely to try something different / enjoy tandoori cooked meat alongside a sauce. I would also recommend the tandoori mushrooms for starter, again very delicious and something a wee bit different. The service was fantastic - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely sense of passion for the food and experience. Thank you for a lovely evening, we'll be back to try something else from your menu!”

“food - great and super tasteful and well cooked. we ordered some appetisers, the mixed grill and the mixed seafood grill/plate. it was realy good and we filled ourselves too much for dessert. that saffron rice was so good. service - good but can be sorta slow? the food came pretty quick and we didnt have to wait too long. drinks arrived after appetisers which was a little strange but oh wells. no complaints about the staff tho. atmosphere - really nice and pretty. they have a sort of balcony seating which is decorated beautifully. however there was a big group so the place was a little noisy but no fault of the restaurant. overall, really great place and food was amazing. will return again”

“First visit and not the last ! Food was excellent Teriyaki Salmon for me with Yakisoba Noodles for a main course accompanied with a bento box with miso soup. "Father's day" treat. My daughter had Teriyaki beef with a bento box. I sampled the beef and it was amazingly tender. We started with a crispy platter to share & a couple of ichiban beers....no room for desserts ! He always had a solution to any issues that arose, he worked very hard and left it tidy each day until the bathroom was complete. We are thrilled with the end result and would highly recommend John and Affordable & Stylish to anyone wanting a good reliable company to renovate their bathroom, we would definitely use them again.”
