“We moved to the area around a year ago and our estate agent told us to go here for dinner to celebrate. We didn't get round to it then, but we should've! We came with a group and tried every dish on the menu. There honestly wasn't one average dish, they were all perfectly cooked, creative and beautifully presented. We asked everyone around the table which was their favourite dish and got back at least 6 different answers, so there really is something for everyone. Price wise, I think it's very reasonable. We walked out stuffed, and had wine and desserts for £50/per person roughly.”

“Such a great experience at Melis Restaurant Whitefield! The atmosphere is modern, stylish, and very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. We tried a few different dishes, and everything was perfect. The staff were super friendly, polite, and attentive, making us feel really welcome. Definitely a great spot for meeting with friends or family. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!”

“The perfect match was a new place, recommended by our friends and it was a very pleasant surprise! The food was top notch, the wine pairings complimented the dishes impeccably, the service was perfect and the overall experience certainly worth the price. We chose the a la carte menu but we will be going back for the taster menu very soon. 2 starters, 2 mains with 2 side dishes, along with 2 desserts with their desert wine pairings went for around £70 pp which for the experience and quality was beyond worth it.”

“Beautiful, fine-dining restaurant with fabulous food, cooked by very talented chefs, and a wonderfully attentive service/front of house team. Thank you so much for making my aunt's 90th birthday such a special one and kindly allowing us to bring our own cake which was brought to the table in perfect timing and then cut for us beautifully. A family favourite of ours! 'Adult family' favourite, I may add. I wouldn't say it was a 'young family restaurant' as such. More of an adult dining experience, especially perfect for special events. To me, it feels special without being pretentious. The staff have always been incredibly kind, friendly and helpful; wanting you to enjoy your time with them. Thank you again. “Excellent gem in culcheth village. We had lunch with all dishes being fantastic and the buffalo chicken one of the best if not the best I’ve ever had. Superb for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or just evening drinks and a place to celebrate! Really attentive and friendly service staff who the owners are lucky to employ.”

“Had the full English breakfast as did hubbie - quality ingredients, non greasy, cooked to perfection. Daughter had steak baguette and sil salmon with scrambled eggs. All of the food was delicious, served hot and well presented. Service good and considering the quality / portion sizes good value.”

“To be honest, this guy makes freaking good pizza. Romana was simply delicious. Thin and crispy dough and lots of toppings. The only downside is that pizzas can only be ordered between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. But on the other hand, the price of the pizza is very low considering its high quality.”

“Great cafe 10 minute drive from chill factore / Trafford centre. Small / medium sized cafe, no booking taken over the phone for breakfast, first come first served. We arrived @ 11am and it was very busy. Had to wait about 20 mins for a table but was absolutely worth it and staff where polite and kept us updated whilst we waited. Brunch menu served till 12.30 Cooked breakfast / loaded potato skins / smoked salmon & egg / pancakes etc…. Went for the big cooked breakfast which was truly superb. Hashbrowns i think are home made, and lovely, as re the Cumberland sausage etc. The whole thing was big and filling Would definitely recommend and will return again.”

“What an amazing venue. We had an amazing night watching three grassroots artists who you can clearly see have been supported by the snug in Atherton. It’s venues like this that make a real difference to the grassroots music here in the UK and without them people would not be able to see the new up-and-coming artists. Ticket price was amazingly low for such great entertainment. Staff were amazing with great service and super friendly with the production staff going out of their way to make sure everything was set up perfect This venue is the heart and soul of grassroots music in Bolton, so give it all your support”

“We have only ever had the take aways when we want to treat ourselves. We have lived in Saddleworth almost 8 years now and we have really struggled to find a decent Indian restaurant, it has always been hit and miss. There was never any consistency, sometimes good, sometimes bad…HOWEVER I think this is by far our favourite place! We keep going back! The poppadoms are always amazing, every single time, not full of oil and greasy tasting, their Lime Pickle is gorgeous and the food is delicious. The lamb chops are a favourite and you can tell there is no cheat, they have been properly marinating in the delicious spices. The tandoori spices must be a family secret, to die for. Most definitely recommend if you want a genuine taste of India. And it is a plus there is minimal plastic waste:)”

The food is always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, truly authentic Turkish cuisine done to perfection. The cocktails are just as impressive each one goes down an absolute treat and perfectly complements the meal. As someone with celiac disease, finding a restaurant that can cater safely and confidently to my dietary needs is rare, but the team here went above and beyond. They were knowledgeable, careful, and made me feel completely at ease. I left with a full and very happy tummy, which says it all! The service is consistently 10 out of 10 warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The fact that the restaurant is also kid-friendly made our experience even better, allowing the whole family to relax and enjoy together.
