“What an absolutely brilliant traditional pub. Saturday afternoon and the place was rammed full with drinkers, diners and pre football tipplers. The country used to be full of these gems but corporate greed has trashed so many. The staff were fantastic and individual. Go and spend a few hours in this treasure.”

“We asked Emma at the Builders if we could organise a small party in the Pub for friends. She was very accommodating and organised sandwich platters for the guests. Its a great location for meeting with friends. The quality of the sandwiches was excellent with many comments for others on these. The drink range is really good and very affordable compared to other places in Knutsford. As the weather was nice we also got to enjoy the outside garden and heated terrace area. Overall a great experience. Thanks to Emma and the staff.”

A full traditional Christmas meal was presented, thick slices of turkey, pigs in blankets, toasties, parsnips, carrots and a smooth dark gravy. The flavours were rich and perfectly balanced, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. “I've had decent nihari a few times in UK, this was highly recommended by my son in law, I was not disappointed, I also ordered naan and a portion of seekh kabab. 1. Every item was outstanding including chutney. At other places, I usually don't like their naan, other places seekh kabab ate extremely dry, I hate chutneys everywhere, they usually go in the bin. This food was OUTSTANDING, 5*****, 2, Service, OUTSTANDING, I'm disabled and did not have my wheelchair in the car, the gentleman brought out the food for me. 3. Price, OUTSTANDING. All the food that I ordered, cost only £25. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED restaurant. 5*****”
