“I can’t recommend Medivet in New Mills enough! Every staff member we spoke with was so friendly, supportive and kind. Our vet really went above and beyond, she took such care with my dog and took the time to go through everything with me. When it came to getting medication, the woman at the desk was so lovely and again, really took her time to go through everything with me to ensure I felt confident with what was required. You can tell everyone working there is so passionate about what they do. I feel incredibly lucky to know this incredible team is a phone call away when it comes to looking after my dog as I know he is in such good hands. Thank you to the team at Medivet New Mills.”

“My girlfriend took storm here Saturday for a full groom To be honest he was a mess and hadn’t been groomed for a long time He came out perfect and I would definitely recommend them Managed to get in at short notice as everywhere else either wasn’t taking on new clients or was booked solid for a month He isn’t good at the groomers and most groomers won’t take him due to his size Be these guys were excellent and well priced Thanks again”

“Happy Valley is a lovely area just outside Bramall Park but following the same river (The Ladybrook though it does change its name a few times). Enter from Valley Road or Headlands Road and quite a few other places. Roadside parking unless you enter from the lay-by on Jacksons Lane. The Valley itself is a peaceful walk through ancient woodland and fields. Unspoilt but the path is partially paved so wheelchair friendly from Valley Road and upon reaching the bridge you cross it for further paved surface. Or don't cross the bridge and walk up the other side of the river which has plenty of benches but can get a bit boggy after sustained rain. This is my dogs favourite place and I'd guess many other dogs favourite places as they get so excited jumping into the river. All off lead walking btw. If you're not a dog walker it still holds the same beauty with plenty of room for everyone.”

No issues with delivery and good value for money. I have used Fresh before and will use again in the future and I would definitely recommend to others.”

“Usually go into town with my girlfriend but the traffic was bad so we went local. This place was just as good as any you’ll find in town. Really flavoursome stews and the injera was delicious. If you’re based in South Manchester, I’d definitely recommend popping down here. Welcoming atmosphere and the servers were really friendly.”

“A lovely meal here. This is authentic Chinese food from a variety of regions including Beijing, Sichuan, Hunan and Guangdong (Canton), rather than higher-cost versions of takeaway food. Mao's braised pork was tender and balanced. The pork pancake was filled with plenty of juicy pork. The fried rice was fragrant and beautifully fried. Excellent sland friendly service. Also, the restaurant was decorated so beautifully.”
