“An internationally accessible haven of tranquility providing escape from the city. Dunham Massey is a brilliant green area south of Manchester, well conectes to Manchester airport. A range of flora and fauna make for a wonderful nature trail and forage, or a humble walk passively absorbing the natural landscape including forested areas and open pastures featuring abundant wildlife. On our visit most of the amenities were closed due to a met office weather warning, but this didn’t stop us exploring the vast grounds in peace. They often talk about calm before the storm, but rarely the calm during the storm- which is what we experienced due to the lack of fair weather crowds. I can imagine on more typical days tje cafes and visitors centre complete this experience with a warm drink or a hot soup after a brisk autumn stroll. I look forward to experiencing these on a future visit.”

“Local couple following their dream. It’s a cafe but I haven’t visited during the day. As a bar they have Neck Oil and Cruzcampo on draught. Wine and spirits available. Gets busy and buzzy Friday and Saturday. Would be great if they do snacks eg meat platters, cheese, olives etc in summer. I wish you every success.”

“It's been 9 months now, that i have been in the UK, had around 7-8 Biryani's but hadn't had a biryani like this. very tasty and full of ghee. loved it. very relaxing atmosphere. Had a peaceful meal. Their menu offers a great variety of dishes, and the portions were generous. The staff was courteous and efficient, making the entire ordering process smooth and pleasant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a traditional Belgian vibe that adds real character. “I have visited Unagi on a few occasions now and every visit is always great. The food is delicious! I would highly recommend the Bang Bang Karaage chicken and the salt & pepper fries, these were our favourites but everything tasted so good. Service is always friendly and very attentive. “Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor. “This is a lovely restaurant. Went on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was busy but not overly busy. Servers are attentive and food and drink was served quickly. The prices are very good for what you get. Added bonus is that you can take your own wine/drink in (I don’t drink however they do serve soft drinks) Food is well cooked and there’s lots of it to choose from. Went for a few small plates and a large main (Lamb Shawarma). Well worth a visit.”

“I have been coming here often. I have tried so many Chinese takeaways before, but none of them beat this one. Staff are very polite and kind. They always give service with a smile and go out of their way to help. They welcome me with fortune cookies. The food always arrives hot and tastes delicious. Their delivery service people come on time. The place is clean. I am astonished by the generous portions they give you. It's like one portion can feed 2 people, and I end up sharing with my daughter.”

It took us a while to try Armenian Grill House as, compared to take away pizza or chicken, the prices appear a bit high. But I really wish we'd given them a try earlier, because their fabulous food is worth every penny. Highly recommended!! They will be out go-to take-out from now on!”
