Having not eaten here before we decided to try a few dishes and had the chicken pad Thai, chicken drunken noodles, spring rolls, prawn toast, spicy chicken wings and a king prawn dish whose name escapes me. Oh and prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce. No complaints at all. The food was stunning and was devoured by the whole family. My daughter was caught off guard by how spicy the pad Thai was but she had a feast of everything else.”

“Since my review below, management have reached out to me and have confirmed their cutlery and crockery is recyclable hence I will add another star to my review. Many thanks for response. Very interesting place for breakfast or lunch in Cheadle. This cafe is definitely a positive addition to the Cheadle community - making it feel more like some of the cafes in Didsbury. It is very clean and had a nice friendly atmosphere. The manegment adhere to the Jewish community, hence this cafe is closed on a Saturday. You will find lots of nice things on the menu and everything is well presented and clean as stated above. The reason I can't give this more than the 4 stars, is based on the disposable plates, knifes and forks and coffee / tea cups. I imagine on a good day this Cafe must go through a lot of disposable waste. Not sure if any of this is recyclable (but I have no proof) so effectively this cafe could contribute to world pollution (perhaps comments from management will put me right on this issue). It would be good to have notices saying the cutlery , crockery is all recyclable as this would get another star from me. And lastly but not leastly there is only one Vegan option on the menu. As we all know Veganism is on the rise and it is always good to have more Vegan options on the menu. On the other hand for the Jewish community it isn't an essential - but for the public it might be. In conclusion I would recommend this place as it gives a fresh look to the Cheadle community and it is clean. Worth a visit if you are in Cheadle.”

“We tried A Star pizza this evening and it was great. You can tell they only use great quality ingredients, definitely the best pizza and the only place well be going from now on. Good price as well. Super friendly and welcoming staff and the tastiest vegan Indian food we've tried. The waiter even gave us the recipe for the drink that came with our thali because we loved it so much. “Having a large choice of Indian food in Cheadle village it could be difficult to choose which restaurant you would go to. Not anymore.....The food at Veeda was spectacular serving one of the best curries we've ever eaten. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and nothing was too much. We usually would go to another local Indian restaurant but we now have a new go too.”

“I held my sons 9th birthday party at The Lobby, and it was amazing. The kids loved it, and my son said it was by far the best birthday party he has ever had. All the kids loved it. The lovely couple there were so nice and helpful. They provided plates, cups , and drinks for the kids (and the parents)! We felt so welcomed and looked after. Please book this place for your child's next gaming party, you will not be disappointed!”

“One of the yummiest juicey burger. Do try swiss cheese. Juicey beef with excellent blend of sauces and mushrooms. Added pictures after eating half of it because I forgot to take. It was so yummy. Very reasonable prices. You will never find such food in this price range. Free roadside parking for 1 hr. Quickly served. Not much place to sit inside but manageable for 8-10 people. Halal food .”

“Tried this place 3rd time now been struggling to write a review, Azizis serves some quality tasty home cooked food. There biryani was delicious and the samosa chaat was different. “My son and I went in half 6 Saturday evening having just phoned ahead to check. Pub was bustling with a good atmosphere and the restaurant was filling up. Lovely friendly staff tended to us throughout the meal which was delicious! I had the chicken fillet, which had lovely crispy skin and the caramelised onion and potato gratin was fantastic and all held together with a great sauce. He had rump steak, medium rare, which was really nicely cooked. Desserts were equally good. I had sticky toffee pudding which was moist with lots of toffee sauce and a really generous helping of ice cream. He had the chocolate and salted caramel cake which was chocoholics heaven! Highly recommended.”

We were greeted by the assistant manager Gav, he was pleasant and accommodating. We had not booked but he managed to squeeze us in. The waitress Georgia was very pleasant and professional. The food was lovely and service was prompt. 2 empty plates. The refurbishment was in character and creates a family friendly atmosphere. The outdoor area has had a much needed upgrade and definitely a place I will visit on a sunny day. The toilet upgrade is definitely a vast improvement . Excellent selection of drinks including a vast variety of zero alcohol. I would highly recommend it .”
