“Irlam Animal Clinic did a fantastic job looking after our lovely dog Ted. We could always get an appt and the staff are lovely esp the young guy on reception and Joanne the Manager who went above and beyond when he sadly passed away with heartfelt finishing touches. The vets are amazing and do a fantastic job! even in the most difficult of times. They gave us an extra year with Ted which we are forever grateful for.”

However I came to collect his ashes today and it made me happy to see how much the staff cared about everyone’s pals who get brought in and the love they have for pets even if it was a short interaction, I am glad he was in loving hands at the end. Thank you for the card and paw prints too it means a lot to me and my family who are spread around the world who couldn’t be here at this time. “I had a niggling toothache on my wisdom tooth for a few weeks now i was in pain everytime I took a bite. I rang the emergency dentist and chose this place as they did earlies and I was off work anyway. I drove 50 mins to get there near enough the motorway. Has plenty of parking space. Receptionist was so nice and polite and I paid for my visit and was told to wait for the dentist. The dentist guy was relatively young and very knowledgeable you could tell he cared and he spoke softly and made me feel at ease and supported. Sorry if forgot your names guys I apologise for that I blame my age I am getting on ABIT lol I told him what was wrong and described what kind of pain I was going through. He x-rayed my mouth and also told me that the tooth in question was all but gone as in there is no coming back or restoring to it's good old days. He said it needs pulling out and I was given the option of keeping it or taking it out. As I was in constant pain for the past few years I just couldn't handle that pain for a day longer and told him I wanted it out to which he replied we can do that. Laid me down and gave me anaesthetic numbed the area and literally when ready he took it out painlessly and I literally felt like all my pains gone although I was still under anaesthetic in my mind I was ecstatic. He put a cloth in my mouth and asked me to sit outside for ten mins so my bleeding stopped and he was happy for me to be on my way, that showed he cared for his patients because normally other places they just do the job and say right we are done and off you go but here the standard of care was shown. He the dentist sat me down and gave me very good advice to which I will take on board as I am suffering from gum disease of years of smoking but I've quit got over two years now. Anyway just want to say what a credit the young dentist and his assistant were. So friendly and you can tell it's their passion to help patients. Gave me loads of confidence just by being in the room with them. Kept asking me if I was ok which was so good. Thank you once again guys and it was definitely worth the drive there. I'm in comfort now nomore pain and I will do everything to reverse my gum disease and maintain the rest of my teeths.”

“Excellent!!! Definitely five stars! Brought my six year old here today and it was brilliant! Really cheap and such good fun. Staff brilliant, really helpful and friendly. One staff member in particular helped us a lot with the bigger wall and harnesses. We are 100% coming back. If you're an adult and accompanying a child, wear comfortable clothes because if you're physically able to join in; you will definitely want to! Excellent place. They also serve food and have good facilities.”

“Such an excellent experience at Wilmslow Hospital. I was extremely worried about a health issue which was causing me sleepless nights waiting for an NHS appointment. Rang Wilmslow and was seen by the consultant 6pm that night. Amazing service! The consultant was so friendly and put me at ease as I was getting a bit upset. After an examination I was reassured that everything was fine. But I was glad of the further scan that I chose to have to have 100% certainty and totally put my mind at rest. I came out walking on air. To have that peace of mind was priceless and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wilmslow Hospital. After being referred by my GP due to a lump in my breast, I arrived feeling very anxious and worried. However, the entire team made me feel at ease with their human and compassionate approach. Special thanks to the nurses and mammographers who attended to me. Joffi, in particular, was incredibly professional, caring, and empathetic. Her hug truly saved me in a moment of fear. Another mammographer, whose name I believe is Aoidin, also stood out for her delicate, kind, and respectful handling. Both were amazing and made such a difference to my experience. I would also like to thank a nurse (possibly named Marie) and the radiologist/sonographer for their wonderful care and professionalism. With such wide variety of services on offer BP checks, flu/covid jab service etc they give service which imo goes above and beyond any competitors locally. The drivers are superb, they are polite and never rude etc. Despite a recent review I am astounded because this certainly is NOT the service myself and many others have experienced EVER. Aiaz and his team endeavour to get your meds even Aiaz has himself delivered meds when prescriptions have come in late from GP service. A true community gem”

Helen, the vet, is well known to me as both knowledgeable and caring. She is the reason I use this practice and she didn’t disappoint. She diagnosed, reassured and prescribed as needed and was both caring to Betty (my dog) and reassuring regarding my concerns. One couldn’t ask for more and I would highly recommend this practice to any caring owner of pets,”

“We came to Don and the team at Dogwood Referrals in June 2023 after our 9-month-old cat, Edward, was hit by a car, leaving his legs in a terrible state. From the moment Dogwood took over Edward’s care, we knew he was in the best place. They successfully treated his front leg, and worked tirelessly to save his rear leg over several days, but unfortunately, the damage worsened by delayed treatment at our previous vet meant it couldn’t be saved. Don performed the amputation with incredible skill, and Edward’s recovery was amazing. The team cared for Edward—and us as emotional owners—with so much compassion. Edward healed quickly, with no visible scarring or complications, and was back to his cheerful, mischievous self within weeks. If I ever face another emergency with a pet, I will do everything I can to have them referred to Dogwood’s care.”
