“A rare gem of a B&B! Firstly, driving into Hayfield offers some fantastic views of the Peak District. Millie's is conveniently located right in the centre with plenty of parking outside and around that is free. We never struggled to find a space. Rukiya is very welcoming and kept in touch leading up to our visit and on the day of with lots of useful information and to keep in communication with us. She was there to greet us at the door and showed us to our room - Twenty Trees. The room was lovingly decorated with a cute view of the trail leading to Kinder Scout over the top of some roofs. Millie's is ideally located for many things. There is Sett Valley Trail conveniently located a stones throw away as well as the Kinder Scout trail. We also travelled 20mins and visited Castleton for the Speedwell Cavern (really cool) and Mam Tor hike. Lyme Park is not far either and there's also Buxton and Bakewell. Rukiya is by far my favourite ever host at a B&B - I have stayed at a fair few! She really loves what she does and that passion shines through. Her breakfast dishes were all freshly made and so delicious as well as the coffee and sweet treats. The sausages were divine. We also bought some chocolates to take home and try. Thank you Rukiya for your outstanding service. We're now planning to return soon for afternoon tea with family so we can try all of her delicious bakes too! This has to be booked in advance though so bare that in mind. She's constantly booked up for the B&B so I advise you book early to avoid disappointment and direct for the best prices. The tea room is only open on the weekends. During the weekday, Rukiya has breakfast service for B&B guests only. She can also make sandwiches for packed lunch for hikes with prior notice. Can't wait to visit again and also congratulations on being the only halal B&B in the whole of the Peak District. Millie's is welcoming to everyone. The outdoors is for everyone to enjoy and I'm so glad I have finally visited after waiting 3 whole years!”

“Amazing service, me and my friend just both got a piercing. I got a double helix with hoops and my friend got her belly button pierced. Gaz talked us through the whole process, he put my anxiety to ease, after I had a bad previous experience with an infected piercing. They both look amazing, prices were nice, and we got talked through the aftercare as well. The lady was also very helpful regarding the piercing and jewellery choosing explaining the options and how the option would affect me. Amazing service, will go again, highly recommend it!”

“Now the poutine here is amazing, I don’t usual go back to same place often but this place is an exception. The Keanu reeves poutine is very well balanced with a layer of chips in gravy with cheese curds followed by a bed of (Halal) BBQ USA beef brisket and long strands of crispy fried onions. Reasonably priced and a very warm welcome from the host. Everything a family run business should be.”

“We returned here for a meal this evening whilst visiting the area and we're very glad we did. It had been 5 years since we last ate here and we were worried it wouldn't live up to the standards we expected. How wrong we were. We arrived and were offered a table in the window. Service was excellent, not rushed but also not so slow that you were wondering what was going on. We had the Houmous and Tatziki startets which were delightful. Main of Kofta and mixed Souvlaki, both of which were well cooked with the meat lovely and moist. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend this little hidden gem. I'm just looking for another excuse to go back.”

“This is one of our local go-to places and it kept us sane throughout the autumn and spring lockdowns. Great coffee and friendly service, top tunes and now toasties and also booze! What's not to like? The seating is outdoors but some of it is covered and they have blankets for when it's cold. Top marks!”

The staff are really lovely, very helpful and friendly and good the extra mile to give a good experience. The drinks and food are good, and good value. Better than Starbucks/Costa/Nero and cheaper. “I came into store today after booking a collection online. My experience was great. I was served quickly by a member of staff who was brilliant! I ordered Post Crete and it was heavy so, having a leg injury, I asked would someone please carry it to my car. They immediately said they would! They were great to chat to in thw process, asked me how I was with my injury, etc. Great member of staff and very professional, fast service. I'll have to pop in more! “Really helpful customer assistant. Wish I could remember his name. Called in late afternoon Saturday. Items we wanted assistant said had to be ordered; wouldn't arrive until midday Sunday. No good for us as we were leaving the caravan site Sunday morning. Then something came into his mind and he looked on computer and the items were in stock in the Bolton store. Said we could pay and then go off and collect them immediately. Brilliant. Did this. Saved us having to drive much further distance to our local Screwfix when we got home. Many thanks”

“What an absolute gem of a place, huge place filled with all sorts of wonderful bits and pieces. Two floors of excellent quality good sturdy furniture. If you find a piece but its not quite the right colour have a chat with them and they see what they can do to lighten/darken it to suit you. Excellent find lovely place. even lovelier people that run the place (so sorry My memory is shocking when it comes to names) nothing it to much for them. Will be back when me and the other half get our house”

“Made a purchase from TJLevy's after a long internet search to find the most price competitive supplier for four Skovby chairs to match my dining table. As well as a good price they provided excellent customer service particularly when I found a manufacturing default with one of the chairs not long after delivery. They couldn't have been more helpful in sorting out a replacement and delivering it on a date to suit me. Will definitely use again.”

“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”
