“Lovely little hidden gem of a cafe. Really tasty food & drinks, a great atmosphere. I've lived in Mossley all my life and only found out about the existence of this place recently, but I'm definitely glad I did. Went back today (my third visit) to find a new menu. Food still of a very good quality, but I preferred the breakfast sandwich that was on the old menu. The crispy potato skins were a strange addition. I'm all for not throwing away food, but they weren't something I'd try again.”

“Can’t fault our visit. I normally order for delivery as it’s easier with our baby. Was a pleasant meal and the man on shift was great with our daughter, she was being quite loud and the lovely man came over with things to keep her entertained and it helped massively. Can’t thank him enough, it’s stressful going for a meal with a little one but this man made it that bit easier when he didn’t have to. Thank you! Rasta pasta is unreal”

“Absolutely delicious! My Wife and I went for our anniversary dinner on Monday. The gentleman serving us was extremely attentive and friendly and always around for anything we needed. The food was delicious, portions were very generous and a huge range of choice, definitely something there for everyone! Will happily go back there again and again! “The place to go in Royton - and Oldham for that matter - for craft beer. The menu is always changing with great choices from various breweries from across the UK. The atmosphere is always good and you're always given a friendly welcome. The food is great too, be it the in-house burgers or the various street food vendors that come into the kitchen, too.”

“My friend and I took our 6 year old daughters to the Funky Monkey Christmas party yesterday and what an absolute blast we had! There were fun games and prizes for the kids, plenty of choice from the menu for the kids to choose from and they even got to meet Santa and get a special gift! Our girls absolutely loved their time, and us mums and dads had so much fun too. We even won a prize as adults and can’t wait to have our beautiful Christmas cupcakes!! The staff are wonderful here, and you’re literally made to feel part of the Funky Monkey family from the moment you step in the door! Our food was delicious - we would particularly rate the latte and the banana and toffee muffin and I am looking forward to coming back to try even more from the menu. Thank you so so much to the team for hosting such a fun event last night, you could tell a lot of heart and hard work went into this and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We really hope you’ll host this again next year and in the meantime we will definitely be back for more tea, coffee and treats! Merry Christmas to you all!”

The bar area in particular was a lovely place to relax, with an impressive selection of cocktails and a refined ambience. The hotel’s location is another huge plus. It is only about a six minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, which made getting in and out of the city completely effortless. Overall, Dakota Hotel Manchester delivers a true five star experience. Luxurious surroundings, exceptional service, fantastic food, and a perfect central location, we could not have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return.”
