“Scott has been walking my dog, Rupert, for nearly 1.5 years. He started doing puppy visits initially until he was vaccinated which he then joined the group walks. Throughout it all Scott has been amazing with him and Rupert gets so excited every time he gets picked up! The best touch on it is the updates via Instagram stories where I can see my little boy running around being happy. I highly recommend the value of the service for the price compared to doggy day care.”

“From the moment we arrived carol provided a safe and comfortable environment for Dylan our Cockerpoo.We were promptly notified when Carol had finished and Dylan came out smelling and looking amazing! He is quite a nervous dog at times .but Carol took time and care to reassure us and Dylan . The Woof Bar totally adheres to covid hygiene standards and I would have no hesitation in recommending Carol for your dog groom.”

“A recent restaurant change has been very positive. The breakfast/brunch menu is phenomenal, with an absolutely delicious range of choices especially the veggie breakfast with black pudding! Scrumptious Sunday roasts and a weekly burger night are really good value. Such a friendly place with great service. These local community based places are so important, locals should make the visit it's so worth it.”

“A great pub with amazing staff, especially Millie! Prices are really really good. £19.05 for Dbl JD & Coke, Dbl Jamesons & coke and Dbl Armeretto & Coke. Very clean, welcoming and friendly pub, no issue was to small with happy faces all around and sport on the TV. Also a dartboard which is rare in a pub these days and great slot machines. Will certainly be back to try the food which smelt and looked amazing.”

“Just had a lovely family lunch here, I can highly recommend the fish and chips, although all the meals looked delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pub is cosy with a great beer garden that has a selection of climbing frames for the kids. Would definitely recommend a visit.”

“Cosy pub in a former post office building. Wide range of local and international beers. Events include: pub quiz, poetry night, live music and painting night. I haven't eaten here, but friends have told me it serves good quality, pub-style food. Outdoor seating available. Friendly and efficient staff.”

“Been twice recently, once for breakfast once for a carvery. Both time the food was fantastic, hot, fresh and tasty. The chef came over both times making sure everything was OK and had a chat when we had finished our meals, bar staff are lovely and welcoming too. Can't wait to come back for the cheese and onion pie as it looks mega”

“Prices a little pricey but for location probably about right went in last night 27/10 to see a friend who's band was playing and have to say what an atmosphere and great crowd. From staff to everyone in there they were all great and lovely people. Chatted to loads of strangers old and young alike all super nice I'll be back to see my friend play again”

“Highly recommended for dog walking and pet sitting. Just moved few months ago, and we´ve been so lucky to came across with Fraser. He is taking care of our two dogs daily for a walk and home sitting them some nights every month. Both of the dogs are rescued and it is not easy to get close to them or gain their confidence and every time they see Fraser they are happy and go to kiss him. He is got a natural affinity with dogs. He is organised and friendly and keeps communication regular which made our first days leaving them easier for us. One of the times I was away and he was pet sitting them they went stomach sick and he looked after them while keeping me updated with everything. So always know they are in safe hands with Fraser. We get peace of mind leaving our dogs with him as we know that he really cares about them.”

“I had to write this review straight away, as it was such a pleasure to visit a pub where we were met so warmly, the cask beer range produced in house is excellent ( Tried two & both very drinkable & very reasonably priced ) It was just a shame I had a train to catch otherwise I would have stayed! I will definitely be back & can only recommend! (Trains roughly every half hour from Manchester lovely small beer garden which is a sun trap!”

“food - great and super tasteful and well cooked. we ordered some appetisers, the mixed grill and the mixed seafood grill/plate. it was realy good and we filled ourselves too much for dessert. that saffron rice was so good. service - good but can be sorta slow? the food came pretty quick and we didnt have to wait too long. drinks arrived after appetisers which was a little strange but oh wells. no complaints about the staff tho. atmosphere - really nice and pretty. they have a sort of balcony seating which is decorated beautifully. however there was a big group so the place was a little noisy but no fault of the restaurant. overall, really great place and food was amazing. will return again”

“I always make an effort to visit here, it’s my favourite pub and well worth the 45 minute train journey! Nice staff and they always have decent beers on tap which are always changing and have a lot of bottles to choose from as well. There are board games and snacks too for those who fancy that.”

“Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor.
