“Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”

“A lovely little place that we visit every other Wednesday (unless Man Utd or City are on TV), where a gang of local musicians gather fortnightly to rehearse. The drinks are way cheaper than the pubs, and it's welcoming, comfortable, warm and friendly. If you're into snooker, there's a table upstairs too.”

“Lovely old inn with a superb view. Good priced drinks and unbelievably friendly staff, including the delightful owners. Everybody went above and beyond, from checking in to breakfast in the morning.... Wow! The breakfast was perfect, and soaked up our hangovers from the previous nights wedding perfectly.
