“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”

“Beautiful. Located in the quaint town of Uppermill, this chic cafe bar is a faithful spinoff of one of Uppermill’s best cafes, Caffe Grande Abaco. This cafe bar has a nice rustic and authentic atmosphere, like a traditional cafe bar you may find in Italy. Also, the staff are really friendly (10/10), especially Nigel (the owner), who was great to me. Plus, I went to Caffe Grande Abaco for 10 years, and it was quite emotional to meet Nigel, as I was always asking the staff at Caffe Grande Abaco, “Is the owner in?”. Now, back to Veloce! The cafe offers a variety of drinks, handpicked from CGA (at this point, I’m going to shorten it - Caffe Grande Abaco). So, you can have a nice latte or a cosy hot chocolate while you chill and warm up here. Surprisingly, it is also a deli, since they have charcuterie meats and cheeses, condiments, authentic Mediterranean pastries and biscuits, and even freshly baked bread (so authentic!). I tried Rogers Pistachio Cruffin (mix between a croissant and a muffin) which was crispy and flaky on the outside, but fluffy and indulgent on the inside, and the silky pistachio cream made it even better. Perfect for breakfast! They also do sandwiches here, with fresh sourdough and scrumptious meats and cheeses and even flaky sausage rolls. What I really want to mention, however, is the fact that they are supporting local businesses. Most things here (the pastries, products and even honey) are made by small businesses in towns near Uppermill, which is really nice as Veloce is helping out those businesses. Overall, this place is a must if you are looking for a proper Italian cafe bar, and some delicious food. It is also perfect if you want to buy some charcuterie meats and cheeses, as they have a wide variety of them. Only complaint is, Veloce really needs to bring in some Arancini, as I don’t see much Arancini in Saddleworth, and I’m very sad about that. “If you can't find it here it's probably not made. Great knowledgeable staff with a great vibe as they are so damn funny. Heck of a lot crammed into a small space so be prepared to search for stuff. I forget it's there sometimes and go to the big chains but these local people will have the same type of stuff but likely better quality and cheaper.”

“I recently chose Cheshire Tile and Bathroom Studio for the design and supply of my en suite & family bathroom. Lindsay was amazing at every step of the way. She understood exactly what I wanted during the consultation and design phase and gave me lots of options to choose from. She is clearly very knowledgable and experienced, which made the whole process stress free. She was also able to advise on a fantastic fitter. The showroom is beautifully presented with lots of inspirational displays, along with a wide range of product to choose from, catering to lots of budgets. “This was my first experience with Maple kitchens and bathrooms after it was recommended to me by my kitchen fitter. I don't regret a slightly and would buy again from Shane if needed.Unlike the major kitchen retail store, Shane was happy to help and replied to my enquiries. “The most helpful engineer we’ve had. Couldn’t have been more help late on a Saturday night while we had no central heating, got the boiler fixed and working for me over a video call and was back working straight away. Went out of his way to make sure we was back up and running while my pregnant girlfriend was struggling in the cold. Can’t recommend anyone better!”

“This is very fresh and young HK style restaurant. The restaurant was decorated with a lot of photos and videos related a famous band Mirror. The dishes were innovative and delicious. The staff were friendly too. Having meal there was cozy.”

“Faultless from start to finish. I went to the Stockport showroom and Matt greeted me, he was friendly and helpful. I ordered on 22.04.25 and my sofa bed and kitchen dining were delivered on 25.04.25. Other shops have waiting times of 6-11 weeks. Had I not ordered my beds already I would have got them from here. Delivery guys Darren and Connor were great too! very happy customer”
