“Just a gorgeous spot in the middle of the woods. Beautiful house on the far bank and good for bird life. Paths mainly along one side and the top end with a jetty offering some good close ups to the ducks and swans. Really good for kids and wildlife alike.”

“Beautiful museum with stunning architecture. The aquarium hiding in the basement is fab. Very educational content. Egyptian room is amazing and natural history is awesome too. There are little hands on bits and dress up woven into the museum's journey for little ones.”

“My recent dinner experience at The Rising Moon Restaurant Pub was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the moment we walked in to the time we left, exceeded our expectations. The food was simply amazing. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, delivered piping hot, and tasted incredible. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their ingredients and cooking. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. There was a lively, warm buzz amongst the other diners, creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment that made our evening truly enjoyable. What really made the night memorable was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. All the staff members we interacted with were incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. In particular, I must give a special mention to Adam, who was truly great. Adam was not only very friendly and professional, but he went above and beyond to make our visit special. When he learned it was my mother's birthday, he kindly and thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake for her. This gesture of genuine care and attention made her day and demonstrated a level of service that is rarely seen. The combination of great food, wonderful atmosphere, and exemplary service ensures that we will definitely be returning to The Rising Moon Pub again very soon. We had a lovely evening, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a superb dining experience. “We had the 5 course tasting menu and as soon as we had the first course, instantly regretted not having the 12 course. Everything we ate was absolutely fantastic, we luckily sat at a table right next to the kitchen and was incredible to see the chefs at work. We were even given a complimentary dessert course which was a lovely touch. We felt so cared for by the staff, they were amazing at every point. “First time at this cafe. I ordered a black coffee, a coke and Traditional Eggs Benedict. The cafe was busy which shows how popular it is. The food was amazing. The eggs were cooked to perfection and were nice and runny. The bacon was also perfect. Not salty at all like some bacon. I’m always weary about ordering eggs Benedict as sometimes it’s not cooked properly and the sauce is tasteless, but not here. I actually wanted to lick the plate to get all the sauce. I will definitely be back xx”

“A spur of the moment decision on a Sunday late Sunday afternoon. A Walk in without a reservation late on Sunday afternoon, the pub was relatively busy and there was a small queue of people waiting to be seated. Whilst guest were being seated, the lady behind the bar could see that we were waiting. She stopped what she was doing, she greeted us with a cherry hello, and confirmed if we had a reservation which we haven’t. She said it was no bother had a table available And it will only take two ticks to wipe down and set up. We both went for the Sunday lunch one roast beef one roast lamb the meals came to the table within 20 minutes and I have to say one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in years we finished off With one cheesecake and two spoons. The staff here at the Horton were most definitely on their a game when we visited on Sunday. Polite professional and welcoming. We will most definitely be returning to the Horton Arms.”

“Love this place, Arab vibes and traditional authenticity. Food is a must, another place to go on my list. Try different dishes and keep a variety of tastes. The upstairs family or segregated seating area was good and I loved the art tapestry work. Can't beat the traditional middle eastern vibes and the atmosphere. The food to try among many is the Chicken rice pilafa and the soup is also delicious. Great place for family and the price is not only affordable but, also quality for food.”

“Amazing Food and Service at Aljazeera! ​⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ​You absolutely have to try Aljazeera! This place is truly special and has the best Qabli Pilau and grilled food you will find anywhere. If you want great food and perfect service, this is where you need to go. Eating here is a wonderful experience from start to finish. ​The main dish, the Qabli Pilau, is the star. The rice is cooked perfectly and smells so good with spices like saffron. The lamb underneath is super soft and falls apart easily—it practically melts in your mouth! The sweet carrots and raisins mixed in taste fantastic and make the dish complete. It's truly delicious and comforting food. ​The grilling here is also top-notch. The Grilled Chicken and all the Kababs are cooked perfectly. They have a great smoky taste and a little crispiness on the outside, but the meat inside is still incredibly juicy and tender. They use great spices, and every bite is full of real, traditional flavor. ​And let's talk about the service—it's honestly the best service I've ever had. The staff are so nice, professional, and genuinely happy to help. Our server knew everything about the menu and was quick and helpful without rushing us or getting in the way. ​Aljazeera gets everything right: amazing, real food and incredible customer care. “Their kobida with naan was perfect — juicy, well-seasoned, and the naan fresh and just soft enough to soak up all the flavors. The chicken shawarma had that smoky, tender texture I look for, and the chicken tikka with rice was excellent: moist pieces of chicken, fragrant spices, and the rice was fluffy and fragrant. “This pub is not part of your normally brewery chain. It's back to the old days were a couple run the bar with their lovely team. The pub is clean and warm and appears to have been recently modernised. It has a homely feel, friendly atmosphere, reasonable priced drinks and a wide variety of gins and tonics which we enjoyed trying.”
