“Went into David Woods as we needed new appliances …. We were quickly shown around and advised. The prices are very reasonable, and a fitting date was arranged .. “The most beautiful nails I have ever got done. Gems stayed on no problems, when often they fell off after a week. Had to come back as my black color was changing to dark blue in the sun and they didn’t let me leave again until we were sure they don’t do that anymore, free of charge. Very quick service, clearly all staff know what they were doing. Can’t wait to go again for another artsy set!”

“It's always a briliant store but it's a pity that Miles the frantic, frenetic, frenzied manager has left. It is many months since I wrote the above as it is late August and just been to Aldi without my glasses with £4 in my pocket. I just needed a couple of things and I got to the SS till and scanned the items, I was 25p short so asked one of the Aldi people to remove an item. "No need" he said, he then reached into a jar pulled the 25p and put it in the machine. 5 stars for this person and all the Aldi people.”

“I know that there have been some issues with this pharmacy in the past. I have been using them for years and I’ve not been immune for the long waits for prescriptions. However, in the last few months there has been a drastic shift in the management of service and for the better. I’ve been getting my prescriptions within days of request. Today I needed an emergency prescription and it was sorted within half an hour. The staff throughout it all have always tried their best to be helpful and friendly - and this hasn’t always been reciprocated by customers. I have always found the staff to be largely pleasant, and I think it’s a shame that they’ve been abused (witnessed) by other patrons. Nothing in life is perfect and we would do well to recognise that.”
