“I really like this cafe. Great breakfast and though recently increased in price, still excellent value for money. Egg, two sausages/bacon, hash brown, mushrooms, beans, tea/,coffee, toast or fried bread. Well cooked and nicely presented. Service is also quick and the ladies friendly. I have to go to Bury now and again and see the Coffee House as a real treat. Highly recommend.”

The staff are really lovely, very helpful and friendly and good the extra mile to give a good experience. The drinks and food are good, and good value. Better than Starbucks/Costa/Nero and cheaper. “This year, we decided to break away from the usual kids' party and have a kayaking party at the lake. We were not disappointed! It was affordable, and everything was included equipped, wetsuits, and instructors. The staff were friendly, and most of all, every single child enjoyed it. “Krave Coffee is a lovely cafe in Whitefield with plenty of free parking outside. The staff are all cheery and polite and the food is well cooked and neatly presented on your plate. Theres no step at the door and a ramp inside so easy walking for older customers and easy access for wheel & push chairs. We both had the small english and I swapped out those nasty mushrooms and tomatoes (my own taste I just dont like them) for another Grandads Sausage. The Americano was spot on and I would go back here just for another cuppa probably have some cake as well. Lunch menus when I asked are only served on weekdays. The seating inside is very comfortable, and theres also tables and chairs outside. A disabled toiket is also located at the back.”

“I visited Costa Gatley Sunday afternoon — a clean, well-maintained store with a cosy atmosphere and a good selection of food options. However, what stood out during my visit was an interaction at the till that left me quite surprised, and not in a good way. When I ordered a medium hot drink, the young girl serving me actively discouraged the choice. She suggested I go for a smaller size, saying: “There’s not much difference in size — go for the small and save some pennies.” As someone who has run a business for over a decade, I found this quite concerning. In most places, staff are trained to upsell — encouraging customers to consider larger sizes or additional items, which is standard practice in retail and hospitality. Her approach, while possibly well-intentioned, directly goes against basic principles of sales and revenue generation. Encouraging customers to spend less, especially unprompted, may seem kind, but it’s ultimately damaging to the business. In my view, this isn’t just unprofessional — it’s a risk to the long-term health of the store. Costa may want to consider reviewing training procedures to ensure staff understand the balance between customer service and commercial awareness. Thank you”

“I visit here quite a lot with my partner as the food is always great and he just loves the hot chocolate from there. The staff are always polite and great to talk to while you wait, if they are not busy of course serving other customers. It's a warm friendly environment with places to sit both in and out the establishment. If you're on the move they do indeed do take out. The food and drink are always piping hot so you it's going to be good. Just don't do a me where I've been to impatient and drank/ate it before it cooled down.”

“We recently visited the Snow Centre in Manchester with our two young boys and had a great experience. They absolutely loved the real snow, especially the toboggan slope. “I've wanted to come here for so long and finally came tonight to celebrate our 4th anniversary. The service we received was exceptional. The food was divine - great cocktails, unlimited sides and amazing bbq meats. I was worried I would be stalking all the servers for more meat but thankfully they kept coming over. What impressed me the most was that they gave us complimentary champagne and all the servers congratulated us on our anniversary, even the manager. Amazing experience and can't wait to come back. “My partner and I had a great time at the Station Bar watching 6nations game on Sunday. All the ladies working were welcoming and friendly. It was moderately busy and the vibe was relaxed. There seemed to be a good number of regulars enjoying either the rugby, the footie or a good chat. Most importantly, Guinness was spot on!”

“Super workplace coffee shop in Exchange Quay. Easy to drop in for coffee with a group - never a long wait and very quick service. Great quality coffee, and 50p off when using a reusable coffee cup. Many other options such as alternative lattes and teas. Also new cakes & pastries available each week. Small seating space downstairs, or large benches and sofas for groups upstairs.”
