“My daughter and I came here 2 years ago and had an amazing experience, and now we are back in Manchester with more family, so we had to go back. It was wonderful to see the same staff who are so friendly and helpful. The menu is full of many choices, so we all had different starters, including squid in garlic chilli oil, prawns with shells on cooked in garlic butter and parsley, a Cypriot cheese deep fried in batter and traditional homemade meat balls. All were delicious and I would recommend all of them, but my personal preference if I had to choose a favourite it would be the prawns. The prices were reasonable and roughly £10- £15. For the main course me and my daughter and I shared the mixed meat special, which included sausage, lamb chop chicken scewer with peppers and onions, and a spiced lamb. This dish had a choice of side either rice or chips. We chose the chips and gad taziki sauce. My parents also shared a main course, which was a 3 meat skewer of meats of the choices from the menu. They chose 2x lamb and 1x chicken with peppers and onions. They chose to have rice with there's. I must say the main courses were amazing. The lamb especially was delicious. The prices again were reasonable, each main being around £30. For drinks, we had the greek lager Mythos and a jug of water for the table. I recommend making a reservation for this restaurant as it can get busy, especially on weekends. So, all in all, we had yet again an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Manchester city centre.”

“I am from Chicago and I would have to say this is the best Chinese restaurant I can find out in the UK that actually has FLAVOR!! Not this bland under seasoned food I mostly find here. This place has love and care into everything they cook. It is the best food I have had out here in a year. The duck was tender, juicy, and amazing. Everything I had off that 1-2 set dinner was just amazing.”

“What a beautiful pub!! We first discovered stockport for afternoon drinking ( before lockdown) from a trip out with our local historian and Sentinel writer Mervyn Edwards.. we fell in love with the preserved Victorian history and friendly locals...since then we travel from stoke and stay over regularly. This visit I particularly wanted to discover the Star and Garter. Stunning building...on entrance we were warmly welcomed by barman Craig.. it was fascinating to learn about the pubs history and Craig's family working within the pub trade for generations. Of course we enjoyed Robinsons Iron Maiden bitter.. a perfect pint..a creamy head all the way down the glass! A cash only pub... my husband always supports Cash is King ! A lovely traditional friendly local pub.. we'll definitely visit again.”

“Came in yesterday at around 7 to grab some food and a quick drink with a friend, Keira on the bar was lovely, very friendly, chatty & pours a lovely pint! Despite having a queue at the bar she still managed to keep a smile on her face and give every guest the best & quickest service possible. She even told us about a great deal on the restaurants app for two for one on the cakes, which we used to get desserts for when we was finished! The food was amazing, we had a farm giant burger and a mixed grill. Wonderfully cooked and presented! Will definitely be returning here!”

“Delicious, fresh food! Popped in for lunch with a friend and we were both absolutely made up. The katsu, sushi and ramen were beautiful. We finished with some mochi ice cream for dessert, which was super tasty and nicely presented. The service was quick and friendly too. The new management has definitely made a difference, it’s a big improvement to what the food was like there previously. I’d be stopping by again for sure!”

“Came Saturday 3rd December for our Christmas do. We all had food and drinks. It was very busy so our food was miss ordered but once it came it was out of this world. Most of us had loaded fries. Because of the delay we got a discount. The food prices were really reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”

“I always order from Raymondos they do the best garlic breads today I suggested to them to add stuffed crust to the garlic bread and garlic bread with cheese and omg it's heavenly, never had stuffed crust on a cheesy garlic bread but this is a game changer for sure, as always thank you to the team for being amazing in making my food perfect ☺️ also if your poorly try their spicy beef you will love it clears up a cold nice and well”

“Went for a breakfast with the grandchildren, was very happy with the food, toast done to perfection, bacon had a chargrilled taste which I loved. The only let down was I like really runny eggs for my toast and beans. But not a dealbraker. The open fire was a bonus along with quite good coffee, being a breakfast coffee, it didn't give you that kick to wake your brain up, more like a brunch coffee.”
