“First time at this cafe. I ordered a black coffee, a coke and Traditional Eggs Benedict. The cafe was busy which shows how popular it is. The food was amazing. The eggs were cooked to perfection and were nice and runny. The bacon was also perfect. Not salty at all like some bacon. I’m always weary about ordering eggs Benedict as sometimes it’s not cooked properly and the sauce is tasteless, but not here. I actually wanted to lick the plate to get all the sauce. I will definitely be back xx”

“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

“I had to write this review straight away, as it was such a pleasure to visit a pub where we were met so warmly, the cask beer range produced in house is excellent ( Tried two & both very drinkable & very reasonably priced ) It was just a shame I had a train to catch otherwise I would have stayed! I will definitely be back & can only recommend! (Trains roughly every half hour from Manchester lovely small beer garden which is a sun trap!”

“The aesthetic in this place is phenomenal. I love the Bangladeshi touch to everything. You can tell they have put in a lot of effort and it does not disappoint. “Good pub but no music better if there was music and entertainment. New houses facing try and get younger and new people in the pub. Always been a good pub gone in for many years needs bringing in to the 21st century. Still plenty of characters go in the pub but it is an older type of persons pub so could or needs more to attract new people in. Just needs to attract more people. Pub is old school like a proper pub should be.”

“Looking for a place to enjoy the night with good people then this is the place. Free pool on Wednesday for those who enjoy a good game with a pint. They also have a team who have won a lot of trophies as well as the darts girls so well done for that. They have karaoke all weekend and then karaoke competition on a Monday which is fun but also you get to see Hyde for some of its good talent. Not often a place for trouble and any time there is any then it's dealt with immediately to allow the good people to enjoy their night. Also run by a brilliant landlord and landlady who are friendly to everyone and join in with the fun.”

There was no Turkey available on the Christmas menu, but there were plenty of other options available so we chose Gammon. The food was excellent quality and so delicious. “Never been here before but there was a band playing that we wanted to see. Great that some pubs are still willing to have live music. Really busy but the staff were excellent so no problem getting served. Although there was a choice of bitters it's a shame that there was no cask ale. A good looking pub and a friendly atmosphere and the band were brilliant so a really enjoyable Saturday night.”

“New Landlord Ryan has only been there 24 hours but what a difference already - obviously still got a few things to do but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Definitely a lot cleaner and beer tastes miles better! Nice to actually have hand soap in the toilets as well”
