“I went to the shop with a good idea of what I wanted to buy. I was given good advice and had a nice chat with the 2 blokes in there. This is the kind of sports shop that every town used to have. You can't beat face to face advice and being able to see and touch what you are buying. They stock a wide range of equipment. Brilliant.”

“We popped by to browse around the shop for car seats and prams. Laura was super helpful and on top of that she mentioned an antenatal course held in the store. We booked it and highly recommend it to expectant parents (great value!). The course is led by Rachel, an experienced midwife, an absolute star and wonderful woman. The classes are so well organised, informative and all in a lovely atmosphere. All thanks to Bashy, the shop owner, Rachel and Lauren. “I have now been with the Bank Dental Practice for many years; until now I have always been seen by Dr Michael Haffner. I think that the very fact that I have continued going here for so long speaks for itself. Because of his busy schedule, my latest appointments which called for emergency treatment have been with Dr Meira and, as with Dr Haffner, I am totally impressed with her professionalism and with the kindness with which she cares for her patients, neither of which can I speak too highly of. Indeed, inasmuch as one can say this of going to the dentist, I look forward to my next visit!”

“What an absolute gem of a place!! 4 floors, FILLED with every kind of arcade game you could hope for, so no waiting in lines to get on the one decent game like in most other arcade places. A bar on each floor, making it really easy to get cold or hot drinks and a restaurant on the top floor selling pizzas, burger and hot dogs at half the price high street places charge. We had such a great day here and we didn't realise 8 hours had past. Will definitely be going again”

“Used to go here regularly 17 years ago. Stopped today on our way through the Manchester area and ordered a takeaway. Same owner and they were just as efficient and friendly. The food was delicious, just a good as ever. The poppodums were a little thin (still good) but the onion bhajis were lovely. Overall good curries and an accolade that they are still as good all these years on. Thank you”

“First time eating in as usually order takeaway. Went for son’s birthday and couldn’t have had a better evening. Staff so lovely and food excellent. Moved out of area so no more takeaway but will definitely be back to eat in the restaurant.”

“We have taken the kids a few times and more recently attended a Peppa Pig party to celebrate my son and daughters 3rd birthday. The place it's self is a little small but has a lot to offer we particularly like it because of the sensory room which offers a clam environment for my son. The twins also enjoyed the interactive room and the main soft play area which is great for young children. The food in the cafe is very nice offers both hot and cold food. Great place, great people and would highly recommend”

“Absolutely beautiful park. Very special place for me since the 1960s. Visited for the first time since the late 70s/early 80s since moving out of the area. Heartbreaking what's happened to the buildings and beautiful conservatory etc but so wonderful to see what the various volunteer groups are achieving there, above all giving the Park love and TLC. “Great birthday experience for the mother in law and family. Superbly ran pizza express in a lovely location. Food was fast and delicious. We were served by Polly and others from the team. They really went out to make our experience an absolute pleasure. Normally a pizza fanatic I tried the lasagna today, absolutely delicious, hot fresh and tasty. Lovely personalised birthday dessert platter was a really nice local touch. 10 out of 10 well done, clearly a engaging and close knit team delivering excellence!”

“Highly recommend P2 to anyone looking to get a piercing. Took my daughter for 3 different piercings and the staff were just amazing with her. They talked her through everything and showed her all the different types of jewellery she could use to get pierced, no rush, no pressure. She had 3 different ear piercings and was in and out within minutes. Don't know the man's name who did it but sje said he was amazing and just got on with it quick which really put her at ease. Couldn't of picked a better place and she's already planning her next lot.”

“Absolutely spot on! Ordered a half-and-half pizza (Mexican and Chicken Fajita), garlic cheese bites and peri peri chicken poppers — and everything was banging. The flavours were on point, loads of topping, and it all arrived piping hot. The garlic cheese bites were proper cheesy and the peri peri chicken had a decent kick without being too spicy. Definitely one of the best Papa John’s orders I’ve had. Will be ordering again soon!”
