“I went in today to drop my plane iron off for the in-store sharpening service. Nathaniel offered to call me back once it was done, and give me a demo on how to set the plane up, and use it as well. He went above and beyond with getting the blade flat and sharp, and set it up beautiful, giving me some fantastic advice! It's my Grandad's old plane so I'm absolutely thrilled to have it working, and cannot thank Nathaniel enough. Aside from this, I always get great service and advice, and great products of course - cannot recommend the store and team enough.”

“Great spot for always having at least one gluten free beer on tap, usually a couple. I'm a big fan of when they've got locals like Brightside. Generally a good atmosphere whenever I come. Sometimes a lot busier than others, probably event related as it's very close to a number of live venues. That said, I can often find a seat in the second, quieter room pictured below. I would appreciate GF food options, but I understand this is exceptionally difficult considering they do pizzas. The music is almost never particularly loud, which means you can always converse. The only setback would be that some of the beers can be pricey, but this is absolutely to be expected given they are quality craft beers rather than mass products, and I say this is one of the few spots where it's worth it”

“Very, very good venue. The quayside theatre is very small and intimate, but holds a good crowd. We were there to see the "Ideal" stage show (which was absolutely brilliant) and it was a great trip. Two minor issues were that it was unclear when the doors would open, leaving quite a few people like us standing outside in rain and wind, which was not Ideal (see what I did there) Also the toilet roll dispensers are utterly dreadful, where you have to try and pull it out of a very tight opening and it invariably tears close to the holder. You know the ones I'm talking about... The rosé wine is delightful...”

Carlos brought my full order to my table and made sure I had everything I needed. Catherine bused the dishes from my table when I was finished and ensured I was satisfied with everything. “I have been using Andy for I think around 5 years now, every time supremely happy with the level of service and quality of work. He has undertaken all kinds of work for me and each time has delivered. I used to use the spanners myself so I know an organised mechanic if they have an engine stripped down on the bench, I can see how he or she works. And if all the parts have been degreased and are laid out in a certain following order, the mechanic knows what he or she is doing and is logical and methodical in his or her work. Luckily I clocked this probably the second or third time I was in his workshop, so knew what I had here was someone who knows what he's up to. So if you're after knowing that you're dealing with a trustworthy and friendly mechanic, want someone who will only use quality parts and want to make dealing with a garage as easy as possible, go see this guy. I'm lucky enough that I know of 4 or 5 other good garages in the local area, but I've not had any need whatsoever to use them in the last few years and I don't see that changing.”

“This is a big B&M that has tons of housewares to choose. Also, a garden center is available at the outdoor store. There are lots of parking spaces provided and the maximum stay time is 120 minutes, which is good enough to go through every column in store.”

“Excellent store which has an amazing variety of Aussie Cadbury chocolates including Dream, Cherry Ripe, Violet Crumble, Mint Twirl, Twirl Caramilk, Cadbury Top Deck (Dream & Milk Chocolate), Cadbury Marble and the Cadbury Favourites selection box. The Favourites is the Aussie equivalent of Miniature Heroes (or Heroes as it is now called), but way better. It has Dream, Cadbury Milk Chocolate original, Cadbury Caramello, Moro, Flake, Boost, Picnic, Crunchie and Turkish Delight. The prices are a bit higher than the UK Cadbury equivalents but this is understandable as it is being shipped all the way from Australia. It also stocks Darrel Lea chocolate bars, imported from Australia as well. As well as this, it has some of the hard-to-find American cereals, like Chips Ahoy and Oreo O's. #Australia #ChipsAhoy #Oreo”
