“We love this little traditional tea room, Anna and Kath are 2 wonderful hostesses, I’m following slimming world and often have the home made soup , so many different ones and always delicious and filling , comes with a big chunk of thick bread , my husband will have one of the days special , chicken pie being his favourite, definitely our go to place in Bramhall X”

“Needed an emergency accommodation due to Dv and I was booked in to the hotel at the last minute, At first I was afraid when I was told it is an hotel due to my terrible experience some years back and to my surprise it was the best I have ever gotten. No discrimination plus I needed Ramadan timetable calendar. Because where I was coming form,the time is different plus google keeps giving different time. I was afraid to asked the staff but to my surprise when I asked he told me the time and also gave me a picture…. Overall it is the best place ever especially if you have children the room is so big and accommodating I just wish their is a cooker but even without that the hotel is the best and cleanliness hotel I have ever seen and best location.”

“We sold our house recently through main and main, the first visit was from Sam who valued the property and did a fantastic job marketing the property. Leila was amazing booking in viewings and always keeping me updated on feedback. The property then sold and Cathy managed the whole sale process I know I probably drove her mad throughout but she always remained professional and kept me updated. The sale went through very easily and I now live in my new property which I love. Thank you to the team at main & main your were all fabulous and I would highly recommend.”

“I absolutely love this place. First visited 20 +years ago when they first opened and I lived in Manchester. I now live up North near Penrith so it’s a treat when I get to visit and I feel like a kid in a sweet shop… The selection is incredible, the price are good, presentation is beautiful. Quality is top notch… staff are lovely I only wish we had a place like this up north and I could visit everyday!!!”

“Best sushi I’ve ever had in Manchester or even UK! Been to Japan few times before, it just tasted like the same as original Japanese sushi. Plus those salmon are fresh and gorgeous, and those are all fat and it will be melted once you put into your mouth. Highly recommended! Especially salmon haha”

“I recently dined at Sud Pasta and was thoroughly impressed by all the dishes we eat, the house sugo pasta dish was undoubtedly the highlight and was one of the best pasta dishes I've had the pleasure of tasting. The flavours were rich and perfectly balanced, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a reasonably priced 1-liter carafe of red wine, which added to the overall delightful experience. Highly recommed this place!”

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience celebrating my sister’s birthday! I initially came across the restaurant on Google while searching for gluten-free options, and I love how it caters so thoughtfully to people with allergies. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Huge thanks especially to Salvador, he went above and beyond to explain gluten-free options and made the evening truly memorable. The restaurant’s decor, the cake, and the food created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. My sister was submitting her master’s thesis on the same day and wasn’t initially in a celebratory mood, but the team made the day unforgettable. I had the Spaghetti Aragosta e Gamberoni and asked for extra chili and a slice of lemon, and Ericka provided it quickly with a friendly, helpful attitude, her service was great as well. Compliments to the chef too: my sister had the gluten- free pizza and said it was the best she’s ever had! Thank you again, Salvador, we will definitely be back. It’s service like this that makes places truly memorable!”

“Number 1 Indian restaurant in the Bolton area. Some serious connoisseurs of Asian cuisine amongst our group. Veterans of the southern Indian lamb delicacy converted to the North Indian variety served here. Sizzling platters incredible, combined with incredible curry and sides in the original el tel combo meal, this place is one not to be missed. Will be back again next week, top tier place- give it a try!”

“Went for the first time with a group of 10. Service was excellent. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. We weren't rushed in the slightest and the quality of the food was excellent. The chicken pakora starter was probably the best I've ever had. We sat in their bar area afterwards and had some more drinks. The coffee with cream and sugar was lovely. Would definitely come back here.”

“Popped in for breakfast with elderly Mum whilst in Manchester. Busy, relaxed cafe suitable for all ages and abilities, a bit posher than your usual greasy spoon. Expect to queue, but it moves fast. Food scrumptious, plus vegan friendly eats available. Walls adorned with pictures of Manchester and Oasis. Cheap as chips.”

“Went to Piccadilly Garden with friends then just searched cafe on Google map, found this cafe and walked in We ordered Benedict and French toast, the Benedict is surprisingly nice, its wish sweet potato hash browns mixed with bacon bits and red pepper. I think it’s an interesting combination, I never see anything similar in other brunch spots. I personally don’t eat red peppers, this combination even caught my stomach. And I think the Holland sauce is quite nice, better than other places I’ve tried. Classic french toast is okay, normal I’d say. Also ordered berries mocktails it tastes fresh I like it, £5 is very reasonable Have to shout out to Tyler for the great service, very lovely and considerate. We had a whole excellent brunch experience here, and would always love to come back”

“Love this pub inside and out. It’s got so much history and charm. The building used to be the Manchester & Salford Children’s Mission back in Victorian times, where they ran a kitchen for kids and the homeless. Now it’s this brilliant underground pub, and you can still see the old glazed brick walls when you head downstairs, which just adds to the atmosphere. I’d love to see more of that story told inside. There are a few old photos up, but no info with them... a bit of context would make it even better. Doesn’t put me off going though, it’s still one of my favourite spots in Manchester.”

“I stayed at The Lamb Inn for one night with a friend while visiting the Peak District. We arrived late, but the staff were very accommodating and provided us with the keys right away. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was absolutely amazing—definitely a highlight of our stay. The only minor issue was that the shower leaked at the bottom, so the water didn’t drain properly. Other than that, everything was great. The inn is conveniently located for exploring the Peak District, though you will need a car to get around. We even spotted some Highland cows nearby, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay—I’d happily recommend it for a visit to the area.”
