“Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”

I would like to pay particular thanks to Rachel, she has been outstanding. The quality thus far is superb. Weare really pleased. I can say with all honesty that throughout all the staff have gone above and beyond. Well done. For all those nay sayers, this is not the first Howdens kitchen I have bought. Value for money and durability is what their product is about. They have also been able to send us to the right Granite and quartz people to dress the surfaces. Outstanding . “We had a minibus for the airport run from Hadfield and again on the way home. We were travelling with 2 young children and needed our child seat for the youngest. Both drivers were excellent; friendly, helpful, patient and professional making both journeys stress free. Would definitely recommend them. Thanks GTS for great service.”

“Great value Domino's in Glossop. Two minutes walk from the Travelodge. Great deals like but one pizza get one free. Quick service- ready in 10 minutes and this on a Saturday night. Fresh and clean place. Wide menu options with vegetarian and plant based. Easy parking bays nearby. Definitely recommend. They got one of our pizza orders wrong but gave us free cookies- these are work getting as they are hot and gooey. Super yummy.”

“I love coming here for a breather by myself or with my little boy. He absolutely loves it, Lindsay is a gem and her food is delicious. The freshly made milkshakes go down a treat with my boy, the tea is spot on and the hot food is always tasty. There are lots of walks in the area so it's a great place to start or finish at.”

Owners couldn't have been more helpful, really take their time in showing you options and letting you make your own mind up. Even had some new earring backs to ensure they can't be lost. Highly recommended, and will continue to use. Even witnessed the owner 'repair' a carriage clock that just needed the connections cleaning FOC, another shop would have easily charged for the same 'repair'”

“Such a warm welcome in a relaxing atmosphere for a wreath making masterclass with Anja & husband Chris in their lovely shop. Tea, coffee, mulled wine and spiced biscuits provided for refreshments along with beautiful, fresh aromatic foliage and natural decorations, something for everyone. Patient, helpful instruction from Anja, great knowledge of all her materials giving creative guidance to express yourself resulting in everyone producing unique beautiful Christmas wreathes. Walking home we were stopped on the High Street and asked " where did you get those beautiful wreathes from, " we said we had just made them at Norris Floristry. The lady said she would be sure to go. If you are looking for something of great quality, unusual with that personal touch then I would highly recommend Anja at Norris Floristry.”

“A gem, truly. Both bar and shop are tremendous, offering a range of brilliant beers and superb wines at range of prices. Well priced, interesting draft beer as well as being a pleasant place to pass time. What's not to like.”

“It's always a briliant store but it's a pity that Miles the frantic, frenetic, frenzied manager has left. It is many months since I wrote the above as it is late August and just been to Aldi without my glasses with £4 in my pocket. I just needed a couple of things and I got to the SS till and scanned the items, I was 25p short so asked one of the Aldi people to remove an item. "No need" he said, he then reached into a jar pulled the 25p and put it in the machine. 5 stars for this person and all the Aldi people.”
