Snug by the playground, it's perfect for foodie families, picnic punters, and anyone on the prowl for friendly faces and hearty portions! Tried the sha sha chicken and the momos, both worthy contenders, but it was the cauliflower stir-fry with rice and veggies that stole my heart (and stomach). This humble veggie is transformed into a showstopper so delectable, it might just compel you to write poetry. So, gather the kiddos, nab a sunny spot and get ready for a taste of Tibet that'll have you planning your next visit before you've even left!”

“Really impressed with Cornerstones Guest House. Ahmed was excellent in communicating the keylock code and instructions. We were able to park the car and walk 15 mins to Sale Metrolink tram stop in Sale. The room was perfect for us (dad and lad) with a double and a single bed. A nice window for fresh air and the shower was hot. We stayed Saturday and went to Old Trafford for the Manchester United match on the Sunday. Would recommend.”

“The service and food was amazing. We picked up ingredients to take home and were promised it would be the best Pico and Guacamole we’d ever had - and he wasn’t wrong! Really fresh and tasty. “Wanted to try the food from the cafe since it opened. The food always looked amazing & some great reviews. I went for veggie Thai green curry & Jasmin rice. The food arrived on time. Smelt lovely & Piping hot. The food tasted delicious, the fresh veg not soggy. The whole dish was full of flavour not overpowering. Highly recommend. Delivered with a smile. “Fantastic restaurant serving freshly cooked Palestinian food of a high standard and with lovely warm service that is attentive and efficient. We’ve eaten at many Middle Eastern restaurants and this is one the best we’ve been to. The Knafeh is excellent and ends a wonderful meal. We also loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and strawberry, mango and pineapple smoothie! If only they had Palestinian ice cream!”

“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“I used to live in Manchester and somehow never tried this place before! We were visiting for work and decided to stop by Tampopo for lunch – and yes, it was the right choice. The food was banging, full of flavour, and fairly priced. The ramen was especially great, and the kids’ menu was a hit – massively approved by the little ones, which is always key! Great service too. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.”

“I ate here last night with my two children and it was amazing. The food was delicious, fresh, came out quickly, and looked fantastic. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was lovely and clean. It was my 8-year-old's birthday and the staff made him feel so special. They brought out his cake with a sparkling candle and happy birthday music playing. He loved it!”

The chicken pakora starter was probably the best I've ever had. We sat in their bar area afterwards and had some more drinks. The coffee with cream and sugar was lovely. “Tried the fire cracker shrimp starter, the dynamite bao buns, katsu fries and the steamed chicken & prawn wontons. The bao buns were really soft, and the fire cracker shrimp was really tasty, would definitely recommend those. The staff was also really lovely and helpful with recommendations.”

“My go-to Greek comfort food, hands down. I come here quite often, every other week or so, and i always went for the gyro, (pronounced yee-ros for some who are wondering how to say it), almost regularly. However i now tend to order the gigante plaki, (Greek style butterbeans) The flavours are always spot on, with it being both hearty and delicious. Haven’t had one bad experience yet, so far from ordering it. The lady who’s served me almost every time is a pleasure to be around. Her hospitality is impeccable. Fantastic value, too! £6.00 for a gyro, £6.00! You can’t argue with that, can you? Definitely worth coming here to try some proper Greek food, served by a true Greek family who know what they’re doing. Can’t recommend it enough.”

Everything was perfect and fresh, 3x different meals ordered and all thoroughly enjoyed 2x burger meals with the flavoured chips, a hotdog and portion of fried chicken springroll (think it was called that). The fish is absolutely incredible — I ordered it half an hour in advance so they could prepare it fresh, and it was worth every minute. A perfect fillet, no bones, beautifully seasoned, and cooked with real love. I added the jerk sauce, and honestly, it complements the fish so well… rich, warm, and full of flavour. The staff are outstanding too — decades of experience in Jamaican cooking, and you can taste that wisdom in every bite. They treat you like family the moment you walk in. This place has become my go-to for Jamaican food in Ashton. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. One Love. Unity in a time of division.”
