“My local one on Moorside Rd, easy parking, outstanding customer service whether DIY or Trade. Feels you matter to them as an individual. Feels like family and am a regular DIY er. All staff helpful, go the extra mile for you , friendly, professional, knowlegable. Tend to use tgeur eady, efficient Click and Collect- totally user friendy efficient - get text message when order ready to collect. Comorehensive stock but, if not in stock, relisbly get it next day. “Update Sep 2023: The chilli chicken ramen was back to not being sweet, which was great. Also the service to be seated was better and I didn't notice the chefs talking. Overall a much better experience. Original: The chilli chicken ramen was sweeter than I remember, which I didn't like, though the ingredients themselves tasted fresh. It took me a while to be seated even though there was no queue. I could hear the personal conversations of the chefs too from where I was seated which I'd rather not have done whilst eating. Paying by QR code worked fine though I'd rather have the option not to give my name and email details to do so.”

“My daughter has been going to Space Station since she was 14 months old. She has been very happy in all the rooms from babies through to Waddlers and Toddlers. She loves playing and dancing with her little friends and the staff make a really big effort with lots of great activities and themed weeks. Kim - the manager - is always very responsive, helpful and accommodating and was from our very first visit to look around. My daughter used reusable nappies and staff were happy to accommodate these too. I would definitely recommend Space Station!”

“Absolutely incredible. I cannot recommend Black & Tan enough for any Dachshund owner looking for boarding! Our little sausage Apple has stayed here for a week recently and absolutely loved it. The house is ideal - set well away from any roads, there's a huge secured field for all the dogs to play in with the toys and have a good run around. It's basically Nirvana for them. Nina is fantastic too - always helpful and quick to respond, brilliant in settling Apple in and she sent us plenty of updates on how Apple was doing whilst we were away. Thanks very much, we hope Apple can come back to stay with you again soon!”

“The best person to leave your dog with! I can’t say enough good things about Debby and how great she has been at looking after my puppy George. He adores her and loves going to doggy day care with her. I know when I drop him off I don’t have to worry and can set off for work rest assured George is going to have an amazing day and be well looked after. After lockdown I was called back into work with short notice and I tried leaving George on his own for a few days for short periods and when seeing how distressed he was I searched for a doggy day care online. After seeing Debby’s reviews I sent an online enquiry and she called me within a few minutes, offered me to pop over there and then to see her house and meet her and now George goes to her five days a week and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. She has a great set-up in her home and garden where everything is secure and I feel like it’s another home for George where he is shown love and affections as well as being able to socialise with other dogs. He gets lots of exercise, playtime and food and I get to pick him up at the end of each day super happy and pretty tired which is perfect for me after a long day in work. Debby is always accommodating and I know she will always make decisions based on what is best for all the dogs to make sure they are happy and safe. I know there are larger set ups for doggy day-care but what I love about Debby’s house is it’s George’s second home and he will only ever be around other dogs that have been vetted by Debby to ensure they can play safely. Debby sends regular updates throughout the day of George having lots of fun and he is so desperate to get to hers in the morning he barely eats breakfast! I really couldn’t recommend a better person to look after your dog! Thank you Debby!”

“Second time we have had pizza from here and it's great. We drove 20 mins from Ramsbottom so it's not far and knowing it's a 100% vegan place is reassuring. The Marinara was delicious and my boyfriend had the Prosciutto and Fungi for the second time which he raves about. It's his favourite pizza. It would be awesome if they could deliver but the fact that there is a vegan place so close, well, we can't wait to actually go in and eat and have a night out there with some mates in a few weeks time (hopefully)!”

“Really nice vegan restaurant. Service was good. Had to flag down waiter to get more drinks and food was a little slow in coming out but possibly that is because we were a larger party (8). The food did come out all tigether so happy with it. Portion sizes were decent for the price. They look small but are incredibly filling. I had the Mezze and Qurma (you do need to order rice as a side). It was very filling. The place is small but I think makes for an excellent atmosphere.”

“As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised how delicious everything was. Full of flavour and such a great find here in Manchester. I had ordered the egg curry along with the mushroom xacuti and loved both. The portions are also generous so would highly recommend to people who want to try goan food or just want to be reminded of back home. The couple and their family were also extremely sweet and welcoming. Will 100% order again.”

“Tucked away in Wythenshawe, near the airport, this spot is a true hidden gem. The food is superb, offering great portion sizes and outstanding value for money. What sets them apart is their dedication to authentic Thai cooking, using quality ingredients and clearly pouring their heart into every dish. For the price point, this is easily the best Thai experience in Manchester. The staff and owners are wonderfully friendly, and the service is great.”

“My son loves going to this nursery, as parents we think the nursery staff have a clear understanding and genuine caring nature for the children they look after. The bond that our child has with the nursery staff is fantastic. When our child first joined we were understandable anxious about him starting nursery however the staff made the transition as painless as possible & now he walks in (most days!) with no problem at all. Such a great atmosphere in the nursery & the children are always having such fun & making a lot of mess that they enjoy so much!!”

“My twins have loved their time at Mini Miners nursery. It didn't take them long to settle in as all the staff are lovely. The staff are great with communication, keeping parents updated in the WhatsApp group, sharing pictures of the multiple activities which the children have been up to. I'll be sad to see my twins leave this week and I'm sure my twins will miss it too, as they've always looked forward to attending each day and always come home telling me all the lovely things they've been up to with their friends. Becky was so caring and tried to adapt everything to his usual routine and had a great understanding of his likes and dislikes. The key worker system worked brilliant. Michelle knows every child throughout the nursery and is always there for support.”
