“Stayed just the one night but you could easily stay here for a few days. The room we had was on the 19th floor so super quiet without any noise from outside. Top quality SMEG appliances. Kettle, toaster, hot plate and microwave plus dishwasher. They also have a laundry department which you can use for longer stays. Lovely bed linen and comfortable bed. Just loved the rain shower which was powerful and as hot as you wanted it to be. Gorgeous bathroom products too. Just a perfect quick overnight but you could base yourself here if you had to work in Manchester for a few days.”

“Not my first review, but another stay of over a week at this hotel. Decent location, glad I'm not parking on the grounds though with a £3 daily fee, when it was free till recently. Staff terrific again. Special shout out to Bruce who was brilliant with our reservation, as well as Amar and Hannah, who are fantastic. Finally, we often get in very late and see Nathan, who does the graveyard shift, and is another terrific member of staff. All the best to everyone and see you again soon, I'm sure.”

“We only dine here, we don't stay in the hotel as we live locally. The Coach House is our favourite 'go-to' place to eat out. We'll be very sorry to see it close. We've had group family celebrations here, as well as quiet meals out as a couple. Great food, great staff, warm & welcoming atmosphere.”

“I want to say thank you to Doug for a fantastic recovery for me and I couldn’t recommend Doug and the Altius team enough. I had what originally was seen as a groin injury by the original physio I went to that I got playing football. I ended up at 2 different physio organisations that weren’t Altius, went through 6-8 week groin recovery treatment both times but the issue didn’t go away either time. I went to Doug and Altius and it turned out I had a torn adductor and also a double hernia. Doug put a plan to put a focus on repairing the adductor first, then have surgery on the hernias followed by physio recovery of the hernias surgery. The recovery program was very focussed on building things up, not pushing past where things were ready and ultimately rebuilding strength, flexibility at the right pace. I went from thinking I was probably never going to play football again at times during the injury recovery to now having been back playing for 4 months and have no limitations around mobility and feel great playing again. Very professional, clear on the recovery processes and confident that things would get back to normal after time which helped with my belief about getting back playing again. L”

“I've been meaning to write this for a while but I wanted to spend time writing it to make sure I do a worthy job to explain how much Bod changed my life. I began CBT sessions with Bod in April 2018 when I unexpectedly left work with severe stress and anxiety. From my first consultation, I knew I had made the right choice in therapist... Bod has an amazing aura about him which is immediately calming, non judgemental and professional. I attended weekly sessions and I was given small but invaluable tasks to do between sessions... with no crazy pressure to do them like some therapists do (I did try to do them most of the time as I knew they'd be beneficial to my progress...). During my sessions with Bod, he reduced his fees to £60 per hour before 6pm - which is extremely competitive and meant I could afford to continue weekly sessions. I think I had about 14 sessions with Bod in total and I am a total different person to who I was before I met him. My confidence has improved so so much, I worry less about things that I used to obsess over, my driving is back to how it was pre-2013 car accident, I am so much more happier and care free. I've recommended a number of friends and family members to Bod. You don't have to have severe mental health issues to get help... anyone can benefit from CBT... I haven't had a session since August 2018 as I genuinely keep forgetting to get in touch with Bod (a very good indicator as to how good I am feeling!) I have little bits and bobs id like to tweak in my personality so I will definitely go back to him. I am so grateful for everything he has done for me and I wanted to leave this review to inform anyone who may be considering whether to seek this treatment of my experience with City Centre Therapy. “I decided to try hypnotherapy due to anxiety and chronic pain. Initially, I was sceptical about whether It would be for me. However, Jackie was very welcoming and explained how hypnotherapy worked. Jackie sent me a recording that helps me to fall asleep at night and the session also includes some meditation. Hypnotherapy has been invaluable in helping me to relax and to steer my attention away from the pain. I would highly recommend Jackie who has a wealth of experience.”

“Noel has been walking our 2 dogs for over a year now and they absolutely adore him. They sit on the window sill every morning waiting for him and jump for joy when he arrives! They have a great time on their daily walks with Noel and Holly and always come back happy. We have found Noel to be very trustworthy, friendly and reliable and would not hesitate in recommending him as a dog walker. We feel Noel really cares about our dogs and that they are in good hands with him.”

“We booked The Mews and The South Cottage for 5 nights for our wedding. The cottages were spotless, the interiors were beautiful and the views and ground of the cottages were stunning. It felt like homely luxury! The layout worked really well in terms of the number of bathrooms etc. It was the perfect place to get family and bridesmaids together before the wedding and such a beautiful place to get ready on the wedding morning itself. Would definitely recommend.”

“Just the best. Can't fault anything from welcome to departure. We stayed in the Barn which was amazing. Lovely touch of the essential food baket on arrival. Quality decor and furnishings. The rooms were spacious and the hot tub was an added bonus. Alan was on hand if needed (which he wasnt). Location beautiful and totally relaxed on departure. Well worth the trip up from London.”

“We had a lovely stay at the Garden Apartment a few weeks ago. It is beautifully furnished, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Especially the beds. Having driven up from London with elderly parents it was just what we needed. The owners had very kindly stocked up the fridge and freezer which came in very handy for breakfast next morning. And was truly appreciated. As was the Netflix and music streaming on Alexa. We also noticed plenty of board games and dvds for families with younger children. Would definitely recommend .”

“It has been sometime since I had had my black bin professionally cleaned. I had thought I would do it myself then found an advert for Wheelie Bin Cleaning Services. They have only dealt with it once but the difference was outstanding. I did in fact watch them do it and it was thoroughly cleaned both inside and out. They left a liner in the bin so before you put it outside for collection you undo it so that everything falls out. As can be seen I don’t have a lot of rubbish but it also shows their standard of cleaning.”

“I’ve been using the Wisdom app (through my employer’s access) and I've had a lovely experience. I have been using the tools and functions to track my mood and keep track of my daily habits. I also like the guided wellbeing plans and practical resources.  I was really impressed by the support network behind it: having access to a 24/7 helpline, and the option to speak via live chat, phone or video. It feels accessible and genuinely helpful when dealing with stress, anxiety, or everyday pressures.  I also like that it’s easy to use and doesn’t feel intrusive: mood tracking and health check-ins are optional but helpful if you want to be more aware of your emotional patterns or overall wellbeing. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience using Wisdom and would definitely recommend trying it out!”

“Childhood walking area, nice field at the start where dogs can run around. Small stream that dogs can get a drink or play in. You can walk further into the wooded area and up to a disused rail line and reservoir, leading further onto the moors. Dogs and people are able to get down to the water.”
