“I would like to thank Dexter's for advice - we have a young rescue cat who has been hungry all the time, even straight after food, waking up very early. The lady at Dexter's was so helpful, explaining that the food we were providing was not satisfying enough. We tried the recommended food and the difference has been amazing. She is more relaxed, playful and not demanding food all the time. She sleeps all night which is a huge bonus. Please visit for food, toys and advice.”

“We've just picked our dog Stitch up from her second stay at Springbank Farm Kennels. Can't thank Niamh and the staff enough for looking after her. Thanks also for the little updates whilst we were away. I don't know what magic they weave whilst we're away but Stitch is a fussy eater at home ( my fault for being too soft with her giving her treats etc) but when we come home her appetite is fantastic. We will most definitely be using these wonderful Kennels again and can't recommend them enough 10/10”

“My Cat Simba is always very well looked after. Chris and Julie are very friendly, and always put all the animals needs first. The place is clean and tidy, and easily accessible from the M65. I won't take Simba anywhere else, he has had 8 successful stays.”

“We used Gizmo's to look after our cat (also coincidentally called Gizmo) while we went on holiday and I am so happy with the service. They came everyday whilst away ensured that Gizmo was fed and happy, the service they provide is hassle free and we had no worries whilst away. We even got updates which we loved. “Perfect location for T2 … across the road, 2 minute walk and within a short 5 minute journey on the free shuttle bus to the excellent drop and go parking service A special mention to Lauren part of the Holiday Inn reception team who was very efficient, friendly and provided a first class service! A credit to the “HI Man Airport” team !!! Hotel spotless, modern and well stocked rooms … have stayed next door at Ibis (which is also a great hotel!) but for an extra £30 on this stay brekkie was included. They also have a happy hour on selected drinks and discount on food A great place to relax night before travels without the early morning stress … thanks Holiday Inn!”

“I spent a lovely 3 nights here whilst I was in Manchester for a school reunion. The hotel is in a good location and close to the station with direct trains to Manchester airport. The room was excellent with plenty of space and a great view. It was very clean and well serviced every day. A bonus was the fridge and selection of drinks. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. I would like to give a big thank you to the guys in the bar, Cameron, Lennox and Eden for making the most amazing cocktails and for being very hospitable hosts. In fact all the restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it. My only complaint would be the cold plates for the cooked breakfast, but the great coffee and pastries did make up for it.”

“Took our 14 weeks old puppy to find a suitable harness because he pulls too much on the lead. Was looked after by Nicola who seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge on the subject. Plus she had the skill to handle our boisterous puppy. We walked away with a suitable harness - happy dog owners and a relaxed puppy. The shop also holds a free puppy get together every Saturday which is great fun. The shop has been a great discovery. :)”
