“My family visited to celebrate both my mother’s and daughter’s birthdays yesterday. We chose the early evening menu and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. What really stood out to us was the fantastic service from our waiter Thomas. He was patient, accommodating and attentive. His colleague Kelsey was also friendly and warm. I don’t usually write reviews but the staff here are fantastic. Small touches like bringing colouring pencils for my daughter and sincere interactions with us made the place feel very welcoming. The food itself was excellent but the staff set a standard that many other restaurants could learn from. We will definitely return!”

“A really cool setting with a lively atmosphere. The pizzas arrived piping hot, fresh and really tasty. Probably the best that we've had. The cocktails were excellent and mixed professionally at a reasonable price. The service was great and the staff were so friendly. The only things I would change would be stools to proper dining seats.”

“This pub is not part of your normally brewery chain. It's back to the old days were a couple run the bar with their lovely team. The pub is clean and warm and appears to have been recently modernised. It has a homely feel, friendly atmosphere, reasonable priced drinks and a wide variety of gins and tonics which we enjoyed trying.”

“Had a fantastic lunch here just now. Booked online and had to delay an hour which they were fine about. Had fantastic service and the food was great. I had the rump steak and garlic butter sauce. “What absolutely brilliant service from Annie at the Trafford Centre Branch. I don’t live near a Lakeland so it was just easier to call and speak to someone about my hesitation on buying a high price item and enquiring what kind of guarantees Lakeland provide. Annie reassured me and explained everything so well and answered all of my questions; I had way too many. The customer service I received was exceptional, Lakeland have found themselves a great employee here. No doubt if I ever go in store there one day, I’ll know who to speak to. Thank you for all your help today !!!!”

“Great pub, great food. Been here a few times to dine all of which were great, most recently yesterday. Staff are friendly and helpful and always accommodating. The pub area is dog friendly with a log fire warming the pub, the restaurant is in the conservatory. Not been in the beer garden but it looks very spacious. The food is slightly more expensive than other pubs however the quality of food, venue and service justify this fairly.”

“Ok, can we start by saying it is the best chicken tacos in the city if not in the UK. True corn tortillas, coriander, lime and all the good stuff. The food was great all throughout, we took tacos, totopos, pardon peppers and quesadillas. The Paloma Anderson cocktail was lovely and refreshing. To top it all we had to order a second dose of the tacos. Love the atmosphere, selection of beers and the service. How come we haven't been here before? Ohhh and it is not only dog friendly, Hertzel got treats before the humans. ❤️❤️❤️”

I did not attend but Google assumed that I had and listed my review for the Gait inn at Millington I'm error. So this is to correct it. “Terrific pub, but I would say pricey for the area. Locals are friendly and chatty if you're from out of town as well as with the locals. The bar staff were Terrific and accommodating. Had a great night and will be back.”

“We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.”

“I was there the other Saturday with a friend from work we called in for a catch up good atmosphere friendly staff and the pubs layouts nice back garden is all done up all round good experience TVs all round the place and a pool table if that is your thing great boozer well recommended.”
