“I would 100% recommend this place. £15 for a 3 course dinner is great value for money. The Yorkshire pudding starter was great. Recommend that! The rump steak was tender and lovely. Perfectly cooked. The burger was great with a plate full of chips too! If I was to be picky. The deserts could improve a little. The brownie was more like a dense cake. And wasn’t gooey, but was chocolatey. The sticky toffee pudding didn’t taste much of toffee. It needed more toffee sauce. However, I must state. Still nice and great value for money. I would go back and I look forward to as well.”

“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Great service and great food! Steak was cooked to perfection, corn ribs were yummy and the half rack of ribs were super tasty! Had a chocolate milkshake for dessert too! Overall good value for money! Car park gets a bit hectic at busy times but still seemed to be spaces available.”

“Went for a family 50th birthday, pre booked online which was very easy to do. Tables ready as we arrived, staff attentive, very friendly and looked after us all really well. Food is lovely, catered for all ages and requirements. Staff even presented me with a birthday card and a beautiful dessert trio . Highly recommend.”

“Had a kids' meal, 4 oz burger and brownie with ice cream as desert, ABSOLUTELY LOVED BOTH. Size-wise was big enough even for me, so shared them with my boyfriend, who btw had fish and chips and was bananas about the sauce. Even mushy peas for the fish and chips had a nice twist to it. The meat on the burger tasted very nice, reminded of kebab, the ice cream in brownie was super tasty just on its own, and it all looked amazing. Totally worth it.”

“Diggle lock is a must visit in the Oldham/saddleworth area I’ve been lots of times it’s always great and the staff a super friendly. My favourite at the moment is the steak and eggs with halloumi on the side. The peach ice tea is a must try also!”

The cocktails were fantastic and themed to gaming, with the service behind the bar at the weekend fast, efficient and gorgeously presented. “We are regular customers with Cheers and always get home delivery, we have had one bad experience with the food. As regular customers, we know what we enjoy, and one time it just wasn’t tasteful, chips were frozen and the food standard was very poor. We considered never ordering again, but Micheal has absolutely rectified any doubts we ever had about ordering again. He personally took time to ensure if we were to order again, the food would be to high standards. I just want to say, they have absolutely smashed it out of the park this time. Everything was so perfect, the food was delivered personally, HOT and FRESH! Our usual order was even better than the usual standards, everything had a little extra and we are so so happy that the Bistro is back to the high standards we enjoy so much. “A recent restaurant change has been very positive. The breakfast/brunch menu is phenomenal, with an absolutely delicious range of choices especially the veggie breakfast with black pudding! Scrumptious Sunday roasts and a weekly burger night are really good value. Such a friendly place with great service. These local community based places are so important, locals should make the visit it's so worth it.”

“We went here for a family meal and had a fantastic time. The food was excellent and fairly priced, service friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Vegans and vegetarians are well catered for and the cakes are lovely. We loved all the old railway themed memorabilia and equipment and our dog was welcome in the cafe.”

“We have been to dough guys several times now for both take out and eating in. Every time the pizza has been excellent, we have tried different ones each time and have been impressed with all of them so far! Ingredients are fresh and they are authentic type pizzas. We most recently tried a white base on, they are very rich but as we were sharing it went perfectly with the other one we had. Quick delivery and very fresh, thanks!”
