“Cloudwater Taphouse is a bit of a hidden gem. Slightly off the beaten path but nice and close to Piccadilly Train Station. They have a large selection of their own ales and guest ales available and they also have regular, varied cultural events on. It's a super chill vibe. Take in your beer to the backdrop of some interesting music or get a ticket to one of the art house film nights with themed food.”

“We asked Emma at the Builders if we could organise a small party in the Pub for friends. She was very accommodating and organised sandwich platters for the guests. Its a great location for meeting with friends. The quality of the sandwiches was excellent with many comments for others on these. The drink range is really good and very affordable compared to other places in Knutsford. As the weather was nice we also got to enjoy the outside garden and heated terrace area. Overall a great experience. Thanks to Emma and the staff.”

“Loveliest of places. To work, relax, feel welcomed, learn from experts in one of the most laid back, informed and genuinely passionate and inclusive fun ways possible. Great pouring selection and lovely tables and layout inside and out. You feel totally at home as a solo customer, working or reading and relaxing. Wish I’d discovered before this year but making up for it now.”

“Cannot recommend this beautiful venue highly enough. We chose by chance ahd couldn’t be happier. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left 3 days later the staff and owners were nothing less than perfect hosts. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the food was simply incredible, the venue is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so peaceful and chilled. Our room was stylish, beautifully furnished and comfortable. We will DEFINITELY be back. A hidden gem of a place.”

“Amazing food, great service and unusual idea, all you can eat steak with the system of controlling when you wish to be served again by flipping the card from green to red. We visited last night for the first time and left really full and impressed. This is definitely not our last visit,the next time will probably come for bottomless service so drinks could flow as well. It's not cheap but it is worth the money. Everyone from the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the whole experience was just unforgettable including the deco and music. Thank you for having us and making our anniversary so special. “Eaten from the normal menu loads via takeout/online ordering, but today we ate in and had the breakfast. Tried the Morning Glory - hands down best breakfast menu item I've ever eaten, along with a brilliant brew (I want to buy one of those mugs!) and lovely atmosphere. Service was top notch, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back for more brunches and sandwiches.”

“This place is five ⭐ stars!! Afternoon event for a Holy Communion! Food, atmosphere and staff all amazing. A sense that they all enjoy their work!! Very clean and probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in years! Perfection!! Value for money also was a 5/5!!!! My son who has autism enjoyed his food and ate it so that’s a big compliment!!! Veterans of the southern Indian lamb delicacy converted to the North Indian variety served here. Sizzling platters incredible, combined with incredible curry and sides in the original el tel combo meal, this place is one not to be missed. I would recommend everything especially the festive Dhal and rice/ sprout bhajis/ Padron pakora korma/ The world famous okra fries-superb!! Also the classic Burl Puri and the mung bean chatpata/ chole saag and vada pav are all stunning genuine delights. As a regular of bundobust in Manchester I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“I always make an effort to visit here, it’s my favourite pub and well worth the 45 minute train journey! Nice staff and they always have decent beers on tap which are always changing and have a lot of bottles to choose from as well. There are board games and snacks too for those who fancy that.”
