The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh samosas, perfectly baked mini burgers, and a lovely selection of cakes that tasted just as good as they looked. Everything felt relaxed, unhurried, and thoughtfully put together. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy something special. We left feeling full, happy, and already excited to return. “We arrived at Bean & Bun just as they were closing, but the staff were very welcoming and accommodating; we didn’t feel rushed. We had a nice meal that was made fresh, and to our tastes. “Me and my family had a fantastic time at this pub yesterday. Dion the Landlady was absolutely wonderful especially with our three children, she let our son put fresh logs on the fireplace and was happy to get him another sausage with his meal free of charge. The food was all home cooked and everything was delicious, the pie of the day was the best pie I have ever had. We had a few games of pool in the pool room too and thought it was great that it's separate from the rest of the pub. We all left feeling like we'd been to an aunties house for dinner rather than a pub. Unfortunately we're not local but if we were we'd be back every weekend!”

“I went to the cinema to watch a live National Theatre Production. The cinema was very organised. I went straight to the screen and waited for the show. As it was live, everyone made it to their seat before the start. The performance was excellent and I will be returning to watch another show. Living in Manchester I’m not going to travel to London for these shows. What a great opportunity to see real theatre. I loved it.”

“Been here twice and can't fault the place. The lunch special cheese and onion pie was really tasty. Also had a breakfast Omelette here and would recommend. The staff were friendly and the food prices reasonable. Place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. When ordering I was warned it might be a 20 minute wait however food arrived within 10 minutes. The food was hot, loved the homemade chips and fresh salad. They had a lovely children's corner with colouring books and ramped access at the front door. Only gave 4 stars for the food because they only use 2 eggs for the Omelette which compared to elsewhere is a little stingy. Will return again”

She was really struggling at first but James was so caring and helpful, really patient and attentive which helped not only my daughter but me as an anxious SEN parent! The food was incredible and nothing was too much trouble! I feel confident to take my daughter here for eating out now too which is not something we often do! “Very good burgers indeed. Just tried their "Any burger, chips and drink", lunch time offer, which is advertised in the front window for only £5.99. At that price, they are even beating Maccies for value. Really impressed with the Champions burger and the triple cheeseburger. The chips were hot and fresh, but were only good, not great. I would. If management read this review, may I suggest adding some red salt/paprika to the chips. Anyway, Champions is definitely worth a try. I will definitely be going back sometime soon.”

“Was recommended this place by a work colleague and a group of 9 of us went. Parking can is available outside with plenty on side streets. Nice friendly vibes and smells emanating inside were delightful. We decided to book a room (can seat around 12 people I reckon and maybe more) and only negative criticism was that we did have to ask on several occasions for place to be cleaned up. This place can get busy. Complimentary soap was the perfect start and a nice touch. Ordered the lamb Zumbina and it was delightful. The meat was succulent and the flavours really lovely. The food arrived very quick and even partook in the chicken brost which I highly recommend. Only item I didn’t enjoy was the fasha and it’s a very distinguished taste. Not for me anyway. Card payments accepted and friendly service. Toilet (only 1) which has a bidet and was clean. Could do with another ideally and washroom facilities also available. A place I enjoyed visiting and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending and returning.”
