“Our families have used The Hinton Guest House a few times for their stays when visiting us in the area, and it has always been a fantastic choice. Most recently, my parents stayed for 7 nights in December 2024, and once again, the experience was excellent. Ann has consistently been extremely helpful and responsive, making the booking process straightforward and stress-free. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly set this guest house apart. The guest house is in a central position in Mobberley village, making it incredibly convenient. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Coop mini market, the local pharmacy, and a bus station with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, and Altrincham. Additionally, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the local pubs, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms and premises are always spotless, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast service is a highlight—the food is cooked to perfection, and the service is attentive and friendly. We’re so fortunate to have such a reliable and high-quality accommodation nearby. “Nice taste, very good potion size. If you havent got big appetite n ordering a box, you wont be able to finish. All Halal option. Nice in house drinks choice. Loved Philli cheese steak sandwich. No toilet facility. Limited seating space. Supporting staff. Would definitely go there again.”

“Excellent food and great atmosphere. The poppadom sauces are some of the best I have had. We had Chicken Momocha for a starter (shared) which says it's a 20 mins wait. It is worth it. They are these beautiful curried dumplings which is such an interesting combination. For mains we both picked off the specials menu and were not disappointed. Overall good value for money, excellent ambiance, and helpful wait stuff”

“The interior of the restaurant is really nice and was greeted with a smile by the staff. Very friendly and we were given few minutes to select a drink and then once our drinks had came, we were asked promptly for our food orders. The food itself is very nice, we shared a starter which was lovely and both had different main meals. The tikka masala is nice but does need more flavour in my opinion (I always think a more red and rich masala is super tasty but appreciate every chef does it differently). My partners main meal which has paneer is was lovely. They add 10% service charge onto the bill which many places do these days which I don’t mind at all (as long as they give good service). All in all a great place to enjoy some nice food and great service, we will definitely return in the future.”

“We had a delicious lunch here. Their gyros are probably one of the best in town. The owner is friendly and happy to talk about what they serve. They use quality ingredients and you can easily tell their food tastes delicious and authentic. They have a fantastic meal deal where you can get a gyro, a drink and a cake for around a tenner. The place is nice, quiet and with some beautiful Greek decorations on the wall.”

“I moved to Didsbury with my friends and we decided to try the various options at the many restaurants. Here we found a warm welcome and a very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, the service is smooth and fast, and the staff was truly excellent. As for the food, the fillet steak with green peppercorns was superb, the seafood risotto was excellent, and the breaded cheese. “Hidden gem! We had the Lamb Maqluba, Musakhan Chicken, Batata Harra and Zatar Sweet Tato's - was hoping to try the kunafa but we were far too full. The starters were the highlight for me and to be honest, very generous portions ! Great service and looking forward to returning again!”

“Our little one had the time of his life and loved every minute of it. Even as parents we were impressed with the facilities/ quality of play equipment, they sell a wide range of food and lovely seating area by the cafe that has plenty of high chairs. The tables are spaced out to allow for pushchairs/buggies. They have a role play section with plenty of soft play equipment etc. for under 5’s. Our little one loved the different sensory areas. The whole place kept him entertained for hours! We visited a second time on the way home. We only wish we had one closer to us down south as we are based in Sussex.”

“Such a lovely place. Wonderful food, volunteers, people and atmosphere. There is a nice store that sells nice wine, soaps, salt, jewellery, greeting cards including wooden greetings cards, chutney, tea, jams..and many more. For me, it's love at first sight.”

“I visited on Saturday evening as I was very hungry- the atmosphere was welcoming. The menu has variety of options and the girl who helped me to choose the menu recommended Keema Pav and I was also looking for fish she suggested Tava fish with garlic naan - awesome choice of her's which I liked. Staff was even checking to see if everything was good and the food is top-notch quality. Highly recommended place!”

Don Tacos flagship cuisine is their delectable birria offering, and is perfect for a Friday evening takeaway (which this brief review describes). Our party sampled a range of items from the menu including birria tacos, burritos, quesadilla and tacos. The food, as usual, was delicious. It’s on the expensive side for the portions you get, but I’d say it is still reasonable value. As per any good Mexican culinary establishment, Jarritos were available. I recommend pineapple or mango. Delivery seemed efficient, with a reasonable speed and items arrived in good condition. The packaging is elegant and tasteful. This review will stop here for now, but more details will follow on a dine-in experience, which I greatly look forward to soon.”

“Cracking food, atmosphere and Shahin's customer service was good! Would definitely recommend to a friend! It was good but we had gone in for a birthday and they did the whole happy birthday song, brought out a cake with a candle on it, without us asking for it, which seemed nice but then charged us £9 for something which seemed forced upon us without prior warning.”

“Lovely Pizza Express, our Waiter was wonderful as always and one of the reasons we are repeat customers. The warm atmosphere was very well appreciated considering the weather outside is awful!! “I've been going here for over 5 years now. Service and food has been consistently good all that time... My favourite dishes are haddock and chips, both of which they do very well, and pretty much any and every kebab they make (beyond doner, which itself is excellent, they know how to do Mediterranean and marinated (tandoori style) chicken). Just all round great food and pleasant experience from staff”

“Fancy place! Formal. Our first time here. Shoulda dressed better. LOL. Service and food superb! Very vegan savvy down to the fish oil and shrimp paste. Only sugar for tea, no sweeteners. But the veggie sampler and mains were positively delicious and the beautifully dressed staff so attentive. We drove past it once as it is attached to the pub and you can only really see it from one direction.”
