“We like verazzano. We order from many years from them and never disappoints. They are never late with a delivery and the delivery driver is super nice and polite. The food amazing like a always. Thank you.”
“Used these guys a few times now great service, great food and great staff you can’t go wrong”
“This is a proper pub, with decent genuine customers. If you're a poser or a wannabe.....this is not the place for you. Good old fashioned no nonsense landlord which is a breath of fresh air. Well run and chilled atmosphere. A place you can you go feeling a bit scruffy after dog walking and nobody will bat an eye lid. Good ale and wine .”
“Absolutely amazing wraps, healthy options. As well as some great Friday treats. Been on a number of occasions food is always amazing. Staff are so friendly.”
“It's a nice section of the River Bollin, shallow in areas that means you can paddle and the dog can get in and have a drink.”
“Very great cafe. The barista Vicky was so kind! Loved the experience.”
“A truly wonderful place for an authentic Italian meal and fabulous atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. Although there are a few Domus Italia or Casa Italia restaurants in Manchester the Didsbury one does not feel like it part of a chain of faceless restaurants. It has a family run vibe and individual atmosphere. It's not a big place but that makes it so much nicer.”
“All time favourite brunch/date spot. Food is amazing, the dishes are so creative and beautiful! The place is gorgeous with such a great vibe. Went back today for my partner’s birthday brunch and was served by our fav Mark, always so lovely and welcoming. Xx”
“Visited here on Saturday after seeing this on my instagram - We was not disappointed. Shawarma, hummus, rotisserie chicken & Fatayer - all delicious. Served within minutes of ordering, all hot, excellent friendly staff! A must visit!”
“Excellent gluten free range! Wished we had something like this in the midlands. 5/5 food taste. Recommend the Singapore vermicelli noodles. Large portion sizes too so that’s breakfast sorted”
“Amazing street food! Must tries chicken kothu, chilli paneer, chicken noodles, momo’s and pav bhaji Delicious chaat, generous portions, and really friendly staff. Great value for money – a must-visit in Rusholme.”
“Love this place, it truly is a hidden gem in Wilmslow. My sanctuary to go and work in peace, staff are amazing from Becky leading the way with her big smile it really feels like home. Food as you can see is always yummy and allows me to be at peace whilst working or even if friends want to pop in to have lunch it's the best treat for loved ones!”
“The Railway amazing pub bar . Very professional landlady .Highly recommend . Friendly pub food top standard. Just next to the train station .I am sure you will enjoy one of the different drinks .I like the fish and chips .”
“If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”
“We went for a 16th bday celebration. There was 12 of us which wasnt a problem at all. Our waiter was brilliant. The food was really tasty. We will definitely be going back.”
“Last week we were [invited] to Sotto for "Tales of the Med" with Stir by night which involved bottomless tapas, paella, pizza and pasta Sotto is a fusion of Spanish and Italian cuisines which has resulted in a combination of homely, fresh food made with passion. Our night began with a coktail, the first of many....so the concept for this night was to bring s bottle of spirits which the @stirbynight guys would craft into genius cocktails as we feasted. I was very impressed with every drink they made with my favourite being gin based and served in a glass of powered beetroots, this resulted in a vibrant shokicng pink cocktail The food was crazy. Not just in flavour but in quantity! I have never been so full that I have had to force myself to eat mushroom and truffle ravioli before, it's a favourite of mine and I was tortured by its beautiful smell as I collapsed in a glutenous heap We were served pizza, Spanish tortilla, patatas bravas and olives before a very unique dish was served (The 4th picture) At first glance I thought this was a paella, but it was actually made of pasta cut finely and cooked with clams and parsley. It was very unusual and like nothing I've had before, personally I did not enjoy this as much as the actual paella that was served later on The chicken paella was absolutely beautiful, it was cooked in a traditional method from the region of Spain the owner Athena is from. I filled up on this a bit too much but paella is up there in the lisy of my favourite foods My favourite dish was the deep fried ravioli! Stuffed with spinach and ricotta, deep fried and topped with a tomato based sauce with Chorizo. This was incredible!! Definitely an amazing invention and a trend needing to kick off Overall we had an amazing experience, theres too much food to talk about. Big thank you to Sotto and Stir by Night for having us. Check out Sotto's website for more info on the bottomless tapas night and also read up the VIVA magazine review on google @robbie.reviews on Instagram”
“Great place, interior is great. Music and cocktails lovely. Loads of menu choice, highly recommend coming here!!!”
“Gluten free menu attached as I couldn't find it online. Some good options, food came quickly and was hot. I wished there were chips on the gluten free menu but jacket potatoes were a nice change. Service was slightly slow but was rectified quickly. They have gluten free beer which is nice. It was very busy which was nice to see considering it's tucked away.”
“Absolutely delicious pizza and a lovely place to eat. The crust was perfectly baked, toppings were fresh and generous, and everything came out hot and flavorful. The staff were friendly, the shop felt clean and welcoming, and the service was fast even at busy time.”
“Very Nice pub with good service. You Can try more than 50 different beers. They also make some food which is good too.”
“This is our 2nd visit here ( we dont live locally) so our visita are far apart. The food on both occasions was delicious. We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.”
“Brilliant pub, with a fantastic landlord, Tommy Grogan. The oldest pub landlord in the UK. Fantastic mural by local charity, Withington Walls, on side of the pub too.”
“Best barber shop I’ve been to been coming here since 2018 They never let you down and the customer service is the best We’ll done guys keep up the good work”
“Nice local pub with outside seating dog friendly!!”
“First visit after being recommended by a friend. Excellent food and friendly service. Very nice place.”
“Best shisha lounge in curry mile. No annoying hordes of people, great chilled out atmosphere and the shisha is spot on!”
“Great experience overall! Very friendly service and great ambience. The food is also good. I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but I have to admit that Gusto exceeded my expectations; food was actually quite decent. We went for lunch on a Saturday, 3 people. We sat on the outdoor area, which is very cute and spacious - ideal for those with baby prams like us!. We tried pasta carbonara, roasted vegetables salad, and the burger. We also had some starters. Everything was tasty and very well presented.”
“Amazing food and incredible value for the money. There are more expensive afghan grills within walking distance but this is my favourite one and less busy than others.”
“Came here for some food after a night out and the food was really great. Had some work going on so the place looks a bit messy but still the food is great. Freshly cooked so not super quick but worth it. Price is fair too. Will be back soon for sure”
“Having been a devoted customer for over 20 years, I can confidently say Al Madina on Wilmslow Road is one of the best places in Manchester for truly authentic Pakistani food. Every visit feels like a trip back home, thanks to the rich, genuine flavors and traditional cooking that never compromise on quality. If you’re new to Al Madina, the lamb karahi and chicken karahi are absolute must-tries — both packed with perfectly balanced spices and tender meat that melts in your mouth. The saag here is also excellent, creamy and flavorful without being overpowering. And if you love meat, the lamb chops are simply mouth-watering, grilled to perfection with a smoky, juicy finish that keeps you coming back for more. What elevates the experience even further is the outstanding customer service. Usman’s warm and attentive approach is truly 10/10, making every visit feel personal and welcoming. For anyone craving authentic Pakistani cuisine in Manchester, Al Madina is a timeless favorite that I’ll keep returning to for many more years.”
